  • Patent number: 7572205
Abstract: A method and system for assisting a user in maintaining a predetermined pace along a track with a specific predetermined end goal. The preferred embodiment uses a PDA or similar device to allow a user set a specific course goal and to enter (or download) a previous profile pace target along with checkpoint data for a specified track, detecting start/stop and checkpoints along a course, normalizing the user time at each checkpoint and providing wireless speech ‘behind/ahead’ feedback (either time or energy) to a user at each checkpoint along a specified track. The present invention may provide the user with a variable pace along a track or course utilizing upcoming terrain, percentage of work completed and/or user power profiles and may normalize a user goal to other competitors having faster or slower track times.

  • Patent number: 7500573
Abstract: Heavy saddles can be loaded at waist height onto a vertical array of saddle racks. The vertical array is mounted on a central post containing a powered gear which lifts in sequence first the uppermost saddle rack and then each one below. A trailer model provides a swing out chassis for the central post with a load position and a storage position. A non-pivoting embodiment is shown. A retail store tree style lift rack is also shown as is a harness rack version.

  • Patent number: 7490787
Abstract: A lawn debris bagging system is disclosed. A temporary chute is provided to direct lawn debris or similar material toward a vented bag. The frame of the chute has an opening with a holding mechanism to hold a vented bag open and substantially on it's side, to allow the lawn debris to be blown into the bag. The vents on the bag allow the use to blow the debris into the bag without the debris being blown back out of bag by the force of the air column. In an alternate embodiment a mulcher is mounted on the opening such that the debris are blown into the mulcher and then flow into the bag from the mulcher.

  • Patent number: 7469515
Abstract: A concrete reinforcing bar clip has a pair of arms oriented at an angle of approximately 90°. Each arm has a clamp mounted at each of its ends, thus allowing a worker to push in one direction to attach all four clamps onto two crossed concrete reinforcing bars. The length of the arms adds some stability to the temporary intersection of the concrete reinforcing bars before the concrete is poured. The concrete reinforcing bars may have physical contact in the clamp, also adding to the stability of the joint. One embodiment uses a single tube as one arm.

  • Patent number: 7450880
Abstract: A method for cleaning waste toner from an image forming apparatus is provided wherein the toner can be cleaned externally, repackaged and returned to the image forming apparatus like new. The toner is removed from the image forming device by means of normal waste containers. In a separate location apart from the image forming apparatus, the toner waste is removed by vacuum and passed through various cleaning stages to remove non toner products. The toner is passed directly to a toner filling device which is used to repackage the toner into original toner containers. This method reduces total cost of toner supplies since waste toner can be reclaimed. Also the method allows for a cleaner environment since the toner and packaging waste is not sent to landfills.

  • Patent number: 7448600
Abstract: A working pontoon raft has frame that supports a plurality of high speed evaporator fans. An on board pump draws wastewater from under the raft and feeds it to the fans. Large amounts of wastewater from industrial reservoirs, such as oil drilling reservoirs, are evaporated into the air in an environmentally friendly manner. Power is supplied to the raft via hydraulic lines. A land base generator supplies the hydraulic power. The entire system fits on a custom trailer.

  • Patent number: 7430340
Abstract: A method to compress a very large original geographic database down to a manageable and economical size while preserving accuracy is herein described. Similarly, a method to quickly retrieve, decompress, and display data is herein described. An original geographic database is prepared for compression by dividing it into discrete regions called bounding boxes. The bounding boxes may be variable sized to improve accuracy and compression. Absolute map coordinate data is compressed by converting it to relative map coordinate data. Map files are named in a descriptive manner to allow determination of map file characteristics merely by inspecting the file name. Relative map coordinate data can be displayed without being converted to absolute map coordinate data. Alternately, relative map coordinate data may be quickly decompressed into absolute coordinate data. Retrieving compressed data is facilitated by forming view windows having adjacent load regions pre-decompressed and ready for user display.
