  • Patent number: 7421895
Abstract: A fluid level measuring system comprising a fluid level sensor is disclosed. The fluid level sensor may comprise a top or bottom mounted transducer and limited openings to enable accurate measurement of a fluid's depth while the fluid is moving. The fluid level measuring system may be calibrated without the use of calibration reflectors and may be used to retrofit prior art fluid level measuring systems. A control system may be used to control the fluid level sensor and interface the fluid level sensor to an external subsystem, such as a fuel gauge.

  • Patent number: 7412949
Abstract: A gas or diesel internal combustion engine of either a two or four stroke design uses both ends of each piston to create a combustion chamber. The piston rod rides linearly through a lower cylinder head. The lower cylinder head forms a lower combustion chamber with its own set of valves and fuel/air inlet. A second set of lower cams and camshaft operate the lower set of valves. Crankcase oil is pumped up the middle of the piston rod to an outlet in the center of the piston.

  • Patent number: 7408427
Abstract: A method and apparatus forming an efficient and compact waveguide feed with all components for processing signals in multi-frequency band antenna feeds with single/dual linear/circular polarizations with/without tracking. The layout can be realized in a split block configuration using any number of fabrication methods, such as brazing, electroforming, and machining and is most effective when it is realized in a split-block construction, in which the waveguide components are formed in the recesses split about the zero current line. This layout results in a very compact feed, which has excellent electrical characteristics, is mechanically robust, eliminates flange connections between components, and is very cost effective.

  • Patent number: 7380886
Abstract: A pivoting column with stop cells formed inside the column is disclosed. The stop cells have to functioning positions, a locking position and a moving position. In the locked position the stop cells allow the column to rotate freely in one chosen direction, and prevent rotation in the opposite direction. In the moving position the stop cells allow free rotation of the column in either direction.

  • Patent number: 7377817
Abstract: A standard ceiling recessed lighting fixture can be modified to a low-slung AC or DC light fixture with a screw-in extension rod. The extension rod with bulb can be used to light a restaurant table or a pool table or a workbench and the like. A series of extension rods can be screwed together for a desired length.

  • Patent number: 7377407
Abstract: A purified water filtration, storage and vend system has a distributed housing design with a main unit having a filtration module, a storage tank, and a vend station. A slave unit has a storage tank and a vend station. A retractable nozzle assembly feeds each vend station purified water. The nozzle is mounted in a housing with an ozone chamber at its base. A sled in the housing is powered by a single actuator. When the actuator arm moves down, it moves a linkage to open a shutter at the base of the housing and simultaneously extends the nozzle through the open shutter.

  • Patent number: 7361074
Abstract: A non-battery operated rotating light and/or noise making toy apparatus is disclosed. The system includes a handle to which is connected an electro-mechanical LED power generation chamber. One or more LEDs are electronically connected to the power generation chamber. The power generation chamber contains a series of gears that drive a magnet through a rotational frequency dependent on the gear ratio. The magnet, in turn, induces a current into an induction coil with each rotation of the magnet as it rotates in a circular fashion via its positive and negative poles. The induced current consists of a positive and negative current. Current is fed into one or more LEDs or any type module such as a noisemaker, creating a standing pattern lighting effect and/or noisemaker. The frequency of the lighting of one LED is a function of the gear ratio with respect to the primary gear rotation to magnet rotation.
