  • Patent number: 7772289
Abstract: Prior colloidal crystal preparation means requires much workmanship to obtain colloidal crystals, relying much on the expertise of an operator. To utilize colloidal crystals in various fields and develop them from now on, it is in demand to establish preparation means capable of preparing colloidal crystals with good reproducibility. The object of the invention is to meet such demand. A gas compressed in a compressor (1) is controlled by a gas pulse controller (3) to generate compressed air pulses, and the pulses are then guided to a colloidal crystal preparation vessel (6) having a flat plate type capillary portion to produce a pressure fluctuation, which is in turn used as driving power, thereby giving a flow and hard-stopping motion to a colloidal solution in the flat plate type capillary for formation of colloidal crystals of good single crystallinity.

  • Patent number: 7766787
Abstract: A rotating power tool has a transmission assembly having a transmission casing, a common annulus, at least two planetary gear assemblies and a thrust washer assembly. The common annulus is tubular, is mounted securely in the transmission casing and has an inner surface and multiple teeth. The planetary gear assemblies are connected in series in the common annulus, and each planetary gear assembly has a sun gear, a planet carrier and at least three planetary gear assemblies. The planet carrier is an annular bracket. The planetary gear assemblies are mounted around and engage a sun gear and the teeth in the common annulus. The thrust washer assembly is mounted between adjacent planetary gear assemblies. Consequently rotation of the transmission assembly is smooth and stable. The thrust washer assembly damps reactive force to prevent damage and guarantee normal operation of the hand-held rotating power tool.

  • Patent number: 7753768
Abstract: A mahjong gaming apparatus with suit variable mahjong tiles has a server apparatus and multiple player terminal apparatuses. The server apparatus has a server and a random number generator. The random number generator is controlled by the server to randomly generate a suit of a particular mahjong tile. Each player terminal apparatus has at least one suit variable mahjong tile and a player terminal. The suit variable mahjong tile is capable of generating lines corresponding to the suit. The player terminal corresponds to a player, accepts inputs from the player, receives the suit from the server apparatus and controls the suit variable mahjong tile to generate the lines corresponding to the suit. Players may hold the suit variable mahjong tile to feel the lines before uncovering the mahjong tile.

  • Patent number: 7743854
Abstract: The device comprises a body provided with bypass ports embodied therein and an insert with a jet pump and sealing elements. The insert comprises a pass channel, a channel for supplying an active medium to the pump nozzle, a channel which is used for supplying a pumped-out medium to the pump and which communicates with the pass channel and an output channel connected to an annular space. A mounting seat for a sealing unit is embodied in the pass channel above the channel for supplying the pumped-out medium. Said mounting seat is provided with an axial channel for passing a cable, which is used for moving instruments along the well bore, therethrough and through the pass channel. An axially movable spring-loaded steady bush provided with bypass holes in the wall thereof is arranged in the body. The insert provided with the pump is placed on the mounting seat embodied in the bush. An annular recess limiting the bush displacement is embodied in the body.

  • Patent number: 7741831
Abstract: It is possible to provide a frequency component measuring device capable of narrowing the range of transmission frequency of a local oscillator, preventing degradation of the level measurement accuracy, and measuring the level of a modulation wave. The device includes: a local oscillator (24) capable of performing sweep in a predetermined frequency range; a mixer (22) for mixing a local oscillation signal outputted from the local oscillator (24) and a measured signal so as to subject the measured signal to a frequency conversion; a plurality of intermediate-frequency filters (44, 46) for extracting and outputting components of different intermediate frequencies from a signal outputted from the mixer (22); and an image removal processing section (66) for performing image removal according to the plurality of intermediate-frequency signals separately outputted from the intermediate-frequency filters (44, 46) corresponding to frequency sweep operations performed by the local oscillator (24) more than once.

  • Patent number: 7737056
Abstract: A moisture-wicking and fast drying cloth has an outer layer and an inner layer. The outer layer is made of hydrophilic synthetic fiber and has multiple meshes. The meshes are defined through the outer layer. The inner layer is made of hydrophobic synthetic fiber and is bonded to the outer layer. The inner layer exposed by the meshes pulls away from a person's skin and protrudes into the meshes when perspiration exceeds evaporating moisture from the outer layer, so area of the inner layer contacting the person's skin will be reduced to make the person comfortable.
