  • Patent number: 4883417
Abstract: An apparatus for continuously producing a dough strip of substantially uniform dimensions is provided. The apparatus (2) comprises a hopper (4) having a divider (8) at its bottom, a conveyor (10) with a weighing device (12), a transfer conveyor (13), a thickness defining device (24) mounted on the transfer conveyor (13) and the width defining members (26) between the transfer conveyor (13) and the thickness defining device (24). In this apparatus, the dough portions supplied from the hopper (4) are weighed and supplied onto the transfer conveyor (13) one after another. By regulating the width and thickness of the dough, the length of the dough is made to be proportional to its weight. Thus the dough portion is supplied onto the transfer conveyor when it has conveyed the preceding dough portion a distance proportional to the weight thereof. The dough portions are connected to each other to make a dough strip when they pass through the thickness defining device (24) and the width defining members (26).

  • Patent number: 4882639
Abstract: A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus which can write magnetic information in different recording periods so that information stored in a magnetic medium can be modified or corrected therewith in whichever recording period it is recorded. The apparatus comprises a bias change-over circuit for changing over the voltage to be applied to a magnetic head to effect recording in a recording period which is different from recording and reproducing characteristics of the magnetic head, and a writing circuit for supplying a writing current to the magnetic head in response to a voltage from the bias change-over circuit. Thus, by changing over the writing current, a recording period for recording on the magnetic medium can be modified.

  • Patent number: 4877623
Abstract: A method for producing composite food having a controlled composition is provided wherein raw materials are supplied onto a conveyor and combined and formed into composite food, and the thus formed composite food is cut into separate products. The quantity of each material in each portion of the composite food conveyed per unit time is calculated by the quantity data in a time chart. The quantities of the materials in each composite food portion are then used to calculate the ratios of the combined materials of each portion. The ratios are compared with control ratios to determine whether the portion satisfies a required condition. Since the composition of the materials of each portion is checked against the control data, portions which do not satisfy the condition can be eliminated when the composite food mass is cut into produces consisting of such portions. As a result, composite food having a controlled composition of materials can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 4876618
Abstract: A magnetic disk drive device includes a rotatable disk. The disk has at least data tracks and guard band tracks. The data is previously recorded on the data tracks in the reversed magnetization form, whereas no data is recorded on the guard band track. While the magnetic head seeks the data from the tracks, the data is detected at first from the data track. This position where the first data is detected is recognized as a zero track. The magnetic head data seeking is performed based upon this zero track which is electronically detectable.

  • Patent number: 4872842
Abstract: An electric connecting device wherein a movable member can be locked with certainty with respect to a fixed member and the safety is assured even if such a locking mechanism is not removed. The electric connecting device comprises a resilient member removably mounted on one of the fixed member and the movable member for engaging with the other of the fixed member and the movable member. The movable member is thus normally held at its home position with respect to the fixed member by the resilient member, and after the electric connecting device is assembled to a predetermined device, the resilient member is removed. Even if the resilient member is otherwise left on the electric connecting device, it will not make an obstacle to rotation of the movable member.

  • Patent number: 4871885
Abstract: The on-off operation of the switch as the slide switch is effected by moving the operating knob in the first horizontal direction, namely, the X-direction to move the slider A together with the slider B in the same direction and thereby sliding the first contactor in the X-direction on an associated pattern formed on a switch board. On the other hand, the on-off operation of the switch as the push switch is effected by pushing the operating knob in the second horizontal direction, namely, the Y-direction perpendicular to the X-direction to engage the cam M of the slider A with the engageable portion of the slider C and move the slider C in the Z-direction perpendicular to the Y-direction against the biasing force of the second spring, and thereby sliding the second contactor in the Z-direction on an associated pattern on the switch board.
