The cord retainers are disposed upon the frame, typically in a regular array such that the cords may be placed upon differing retainers on the same crossbar to change the lateral spacing between the cords and also to change the distance of said cord from a playing surface.

Abstract: A method for transferring data files between processors in a linked network of computer processors, under applications program control operable in one or more of the processors, wherein a special applications program instruction is devised to cause the executing computer to process a utility program which identifies the data file being requested and transmits a request for such data file to another computer processor holding the data file. The computer processor holding the data file implements a special utility routine in response thereto, to first identify whether the requesting computer processor is authorized to receive the data file, and then transmits the data file to the requesting computer processor.

Abstract: A conveying apparatus for paper products in stream form having two parallel belt elements supported by rollers is made up of individual standardized self-contained prefabricated constructional elements which at least at a side lying in the product flow direction are couplable to a corresponding constructional unit in such a manner that only a single conveyor belt pair is provided which is supported by rollers or rolls and driven by a single drive unit, and at least one constructional unit is constructed for a deflection and/or turning of the product stream.

Abstract: An antiskid attachment for use with an automotive wheel having a tire includes a base plate adapted to be positioned on one side of the wheel. A plurality of spaced-apart ground-engaging band members are mounted peripherally around the base plate in cantilevered manner and are adapted to be positioned on the outer surface of the tire. Each of the band members has a transverse hole formed in the free end thereof. A fastening cord is passed through the holes of the band members for releasably tensioning the band members. Tying means is provided for releasably tying the fastening cord to the outside surface of the base plate with the band members tensioned by the fastening cord.

Abstract: A hose clamp made from a unitary, spring steel band formed into a generally cylindrical configuration. The clamp has a support piece extending radially outwardly from one end of the spring steel band, a slot opening formed in the one end adjacent the support piece and extending a predetermined length in a circumferential direction of the spring steel band, a projecting piece formed at the other end of the spring steel band and fitting in circumferential relationship in the slot opening, and an upstanding tab formed at the distal end of the projecting piece and extending radially outwardly of the spring steel band. With this arrangement, when the spring steel band is deflected to its expanded position, the tab is retained on the support piece so as to temporarily lock the spring steel band in its open or expanded position.

A clamping ring is provided for clamping the peripheral flange of the outer pan member and the peripheral flange of the inner pan member. A water filler aperture is formed in the peripheral flange of the inner pan member for filling the water into the space.

In combination, the three conical lens sections accelerate ions from a specimen surface, decelerate these ions into an ion energy spectrometer for energy window matching to the quadrupole mass spectrometer, and focus the ions on the entrance aperture of the ion energy spectrometer.
