  • Patent number: 7769227
Abstract: An object detector includes a brightness change calculating section (103) that calculates the change in brightness in an image, a three-dimensional object detecting section (105) that uses three-dimensional information measured from a plurality of images to detect a three-dimensional object, an object candidate extracting section (106) that refers to the three-dimensional object detection results and the brightness change calculation result to extract a moving object candidate area and a still object candidate area, and an object judging section (107) that judges whether or not the candidate area is an object. In this way, the object detector refers to the change in brightness in the area detected as a three-dimensional object to judge whether the detected three-dimensional object is a moving object or a still object. Therefore, a still object in the image can be accurately detected without using background difference processing.

  • Patent number: 7767554
Abstract: An object is to provide a semiconductor chip manufacturing method capable of removing test patterns in a higher efficiency in simple steps, while a general-purpose characteristic can be secured. In a method in which a semiconductor wafer 1 having integrated circuits 3 formed in a plurality of chip regions and test patterns 4 formed in scribe lines 2a is divided by a plasma etching process so as to manufacture individual semiconductor chips, laser light 5a is irradiated from the side of a circuit forming plane 1a so as to remove the test patterns 4; and thereafter, under such a condition that a circuit protection seat 6 is adhered onto a circuit forming plane 1a, a rear plane of the circuit forming plane 1a is mechanically thinned; a mask-purpose seat is adhered onto the rear plane 1b of the semiconductor wafer 1 after the plane thinning process; and then, a plasma dicing-purpose mask is work-processed by irradiating laser light.

  • Patent number: 7762615
Abstract: An air dam is made of flexible cells installed adjacent to one another so that the air darn is capable of installation in many deflecting configurations on a vehicle and can also deflect under impact. The air dam system may be capable of being deployed at higher speeds while being stowed under the frame of the truck when the truck is operating on rough road surfaces to reduce the potential for air dam damage. The air dam system can be actuated pneumatically and when deployed tends to reduce aerodynamic drag by altering the path of airflow under and/or immediately around a vehicle. Other methods of actuation such as hydraulic or mechanical components may also be used with the air dam system. Alternatively, the air dam cells may be stationary and include an inflated bladder and/or flexible sleeve mounted adjacent to one another on an air dam frame.

  • Patent number: 7764487
Abstract: A display has a closed body, a display panel, an inactive propeller, an inactive magnet and a driving assembly. The closed body has an inner cavity and liquid. The display panel is mounted around by the closed body. The inactive propeller is mounted rotatably in the inner cavity and has multiple blades to agitate the liquid. The inactive magnet is mounted securely in the inactive propeller. The driving assembly is mounted on the closed body outside the inner cavity and has a power unit, a shaft and an active magnet. The active magnet is attached to the shaft and corresponds to the inactive magnet. With the magnetic force between the active and inactive magnets, the power is transmitted into the closed body without any physical contact. Therefore, the closed body does not require any waterproof structures and the liquid maintains clean and isolated from the outer environment.
