Abstract: The combination of an extension to the shaft of a sabre saw that moves the blade forward of the gear box housing and a guide plate with plates on the end that will abut a transverse plane and channels that will allow the saw to slide forward on the guide plate against a spring bias to cut to the intersection of two planes.
Abstract: Apparatus for heating and circulating air within a room, the apparatus including a ceiling fan having fan blades, a heater housing disposed vertically above the ceiling fan, a heating element disposed within the heater housing, intake ports provided in the heater housing for transferring air from the room into the interior of the heater housing, the air intake ports being disposed vertically above the ceiling fan, and air output ports provided in the heater housing for transferring air from the interior of the heater housing into the room, the air output ports being disposed vertically below the ceiling fan and outside of the radial sweep of the fan blades.
Abstract: A storage shelf for storing items in the attic utilizing the roof trusses as supports for the shelves has a first and third support member rotatably connected to a second support member. There may be at least one stabilizing member attached to the first, second or third support member. Along with being rotatably connected to the second support member for adjustability, the first support member and the third support member may be removably connected to the second support member for ease of assembly and replacement. Brackets are used, along with fasteners to attach the shelf to the trusses.
Abstract: A game simulating financial events that a person encounters during the person's lifetime, including: a game board having disposed thereon a path of individual financial event indicia on which indicia playing pieces may land while traversing the path, the financial event indicia indicating, in some cases, mandatory or discretional financial transactions; one of the indicia being a starting point at which each player begins the game at a first predetermined age, with age advancing one year each time the starting point is passed, up to a second predetermined age at which the game terminates; first cards, each of which indicates thereon a job and a salary therefor, each player to draw one of the first cards when the game commences; second cards, each of which indicates thereon a type of business, the purchase price thereof, and the annual profits therefrom, one of the second cards to be drawn by a player, at the discretion thereof, when having a playing piece land on one of the indicia indicating a discretionary
Abstract: The shaver head has a chamber that has an enclosing wall. An upper blade port and a lower blade port is cut or formed through the enclosing wall. A first pair of upper tab guides and a second pair of upper tab guides is formed on the enclosing wall. An upper support member and a lower support member is attached to the enclosing wall. Three upper spring member retaining mounts are on the upper support member and three lower spring member retaining mounts are on the lower support member. An upper razor blade in the chamber partially extends through the upper blade port and a lower razor blade in the chamber partially extends through the lower blade port. The first pair of tabs, on a right side the upper razor blade, are slidingly engaged in the first pair of the upper tab guides. The second pair of tabs, on a left side of the upper razor blade, are slidingly engaged in the second pair of the upper tab guides.
Abstract: An artificial Christmas tree has a trunk member. The trunk member has an elongated rod that has at least two threadingly disconnectable sections. There are a plurality of elongated limb storage chambers in the elongated rod. A stabilizational plate is attached to one end of the elongated rod to horizontally stabilize the elongated rod. A vertical structure support member is attached to another end of the elongated rod to vertically stabilize the elongated rod. There are a plurality of flexible limb members stored within the elongated limb chambers that slidingly traverse within and adjustably extend from the elongated storage chambers.
Abstract: An adjustable platform for attachment to a ladder, including: a frame which can be removably attached to a ladder; a planar platform fixedly mounted on a shaft rotatably disposed in the frame; and a position adjustment mechanism operatively connected to the shaft to selectively lock the platform in a desired angular position with respect to the ladder or to permit the platform and the shaft to rotate freely within the frame, the position adjustment mechanism including no threaded fasteners.
Abstract: A stilt apparatus, the stilt apparatus including an elongated column member, a horizontal foot hold formed on the elongated column member for supporting the foot of an individual, the elongated column member including an elevation member extending downward from the horizontal foot hold, the elongated column member additionally including a graspable support member extending upward from the horizontal foot hold, and an illumination mechanism for illuminating at least one of a portion of the elongated column member and a portion of the horizontal foot hold.
