Abstract: A poultry feeder assembly for use with an automated conveyor-type feed system. The feeder assembly is inexpensive to manufacture and comprises only two assembly pieces which are formed of a resilient, flexible material allowing for easy assembly and adjustment without tool or implement. Multi-stage incremental positioning provided between a dome/feeder-tube combination and a pan member allows feeding of brood through pre-harvest sized foul and renders the feeder assembly adaptable for use with feeds having varying flow characteristics.

Abstract: An expansion fastener comprises a female member including a cylindrical portion, a flange portion and a plurality of elastic leg portions, and a male member including a shaft portion to be fitted in the cylindrical portion, a head portion provided at the upper end of the shaft portion and a leg portion expanding portion for causing outward deformation of the elastic leg protions. The cylindrical portion of the female member has a reduced-thickness break portion which extends along an overlap plane along which two plates overlap each other, and a radially inwardly constricted break portion is provided between the shaft portion and head portion of the male member.
Abstract: A plastic clip to be tightened against a bolt comprises a plastic body having a base having a through hole to be penetrated vertically by the bolt, at least one upright post extending upright from the top of the base adjacent to the through hole, a cylindrical portion united to the outer end of the upright post and having a hole formed above and coaxial with the through hole in the base for receiving the bolt, and a flexible arm extending in a curved fashion from one side of the upright post between the base and the cylindrical portion to slightly project with respect to the outer shape of the cylindrical portion having a curved inner surface provided with a thread to be meshed with the male thread of the bolt, and a plastic operable cylinder fitted on the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion and lowered along the upright post to urge the flexible arm against the periphery of the bolt.
Abstract: A drawer device comprises a drawer and a frame. Either the drawer or the frame is provided with a rack extending in the direction of movement of the drawer, and the other is provided with a rotary damper, which inlcudes a spiral spring adapted to be wound from one end thereof as the drawer is pushed into an accommodation space in the frame, a locking member for locking the spiral spring against unwinding when the drawer is pushed into the accommodation space and a gear capable of being rotated in the forward and reverse directions under a braking force with the movement of the drawer. The gear and rack are coupled together. A bearing is provided between cooperating, relatively slidable surfaces of the drawer and frame.
Abstract: This invention relates to a one-piece molded nut made of plastic which is used to secure one member to another in cooperation with a stud. The nut includes a cylindrical portion having an inner space and an engagement piece extending across the open end of the cylindrical portion.
Abstract: A window shade construction for a window having a generally rectangular window frame comprises a pair of flexible cords running substantially from the top to the bottom of the window and attached adjacent respective top and bottom ends of the window frame. Respective top and bottom header members are coupled for slidable movement along the cords. A pleated shade member has a first end coupled to the top header and an opposite end coupled to the bottom header, such that the pleated shade is expandable and collapsible in accordian-like fashion as the top and bottom headers are moved slidably along the cords.
Abstract: The screw is provided with a three-lobed thread crest, followed by a threaded portion with a three-lobed thread geometry, which passes into a threaded portion with a circular thread geometry. In all three threaded portions the flank angle of the thread is 60.degree. and the flank angle of the thread crests extending beyond the nominal diameter of the screw is 30.degree..
