  • Patent number: 7617857
Abstract: An illuminated blind assembly having either horizontally oriented slats or vertically oriented slats. The slats have structure that allows them to be illuminated. The slats can be A.C. or D.C. powered. The window blind assembly may have a housing containing rechargeable batteries. These batteries can be charged by photovoltaic solar cells that are positioned on the top surfaces of the slats. The window blind assembly can have a tilt/raise/lower pulley system structure and electrical servos in a housing extending across the top of the window blind assembly. An infrared remote sensor can be located in the front of the housing for controlling the electric servos and the switch for lighting up the slats.

  • Patent number: 7563256
Abstract: The present invention involves an eye drop dispenser attachment having a cannula tip that can provide a consistent dose of medication. The attachment includes a base portion, a neck portion, and a tip portion. The base portion can contain threads for removable attachment to a bottle. The attachment can also include a protective covering for surrounding the tip to prevent injury to a user. The attachment can further include a cap that can be removably attached to either the base portion or the neck portion. The attachment can be incorporated into a bottle assembly or it can be screwed onto an existing bottle. The tip preferably has dimensions consistent with current ophthalmic cannula technology in the range of 20-40 gauge depending on the size of drop desired. An alternate embodiment of the attachment can be slidably disposed on the end of a traditional bulb-type eye dropper.

  • Patent number: 7525786
Abstract: An extendable electronic discharge staff will consist of a central sliding member translating within a tubular body member to be positioned by the means of a spring-loaded ball detent. When the central sliding member is positioned, it will be locked in place by the means of a locking nut at the distal end of the tubular body member. A forward adjustable handgrip will be located and locked into position along the length of the tubular body member to accommodate the size and comfort of the person using the device. By rotating the rear hand grip, the device will be turned on or off, and by sliding the rear handgrip forward or backward a high or low voltage will be delivered to the distal contact end of the central sliding member. On an alternate embodiment having three contact positions, the default center position delivers low voltage while both forward and backward outer positions deliver high voltage.

  • Patent number: 7471497
Abstract: The present invention provides a device that can be readily installed in any type of footwear, and that when installed enables a semi-continuous grounding path through the shoe of the wearer to an earthly source to dissipate static electricity. The present invention consists of a collection pad, an electrical path to a resistor, and continues that path to an earthly ground that prevents, or greatly reduces, electro static discharge (ESD) in personnel and their clothing when they are wearing shoes with insulative-soles. Alternatively a single resistor wire is employed to conduct static electricity to ground. This device is intended to increase the comfort level of the wearer of such shoes by eliminating, or greatly reducing the harmful and annoying effects of ESD without having any affect on the cosmetic appearance or the functionality of the shoe.

  • Patent number: 7431165
Abstract: A liquid/solids waste separator apparatus for use in separating animal waste or waste water into filtered liquid and collected solid particles. It has an elongated housing having a pair of support legs attached to the rear end of the housing for varying the inclination angle of the housing. Positioned downwardly from the top edge of the housing is an elongated mesh screen that extends substantially the length of the housing. A plurality of nozzles are laterally spaced from each other and connected to the top of a spray tube that extends transversely beneath the mesh screen. A separate slide pad supports each of the opposite ends of the spray tube and they travel along their respective tracks formed on the inner surface of the respective right and left side walls of the housing beneath the mesh screen. An electric motor drives a chain passing around a pair of longitudinally spaced sprocket gears in the housing.

  • Patent number: 7357098
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a light weight booster bath that will consist of a two-piece reinforced tub unit, removable legs, drain hose, spray nozzle, utility basket, three-piece adjustable leash system with collar and assembling hardware that will fit within the nested upper and lower portion of the tub. Optional leg stabilizers and access stairs can also be part of the package additionally fitting within the nested upper and lower portion of the tub. A unique three-piece adjustable leash system will be attached to the combined tub sections by eyebolts. When using the three-piece adjustable leash system the pet is kept centrally located within the tub and cannot move from side to side. A quick disconnect swivel snap coupler is attached to the collar so the collar can be put on the pet before moving the pet into the tub.

  • Patent number: 7350265
Abstract: A self-contained handheld drain clearing device is provided that uses compressed air to unblock various household drains and pipes. The device comprises an upper body and a lower body. The upper body includes a cylindrical chamber for housing a manual pump. A one-way inlet valve allows compressed air to enter a collection chamber, from which it exits to a storage chamber through a small hole in a piston. A trigger component is located in the upper body of the device, as is a pressure release safety component included for user protection. The lower body of the device primarily serves as a storage area for compressed air, containing an upper end and a lower end. The upper end contains threads for joining the lower body with the upper body, while the lower end contains a fitting for receiving various drain-sealing adapters.

  • Patent number: 7343923
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a utility hot and cold water mixing system consisting of three components, a hot water Y-coupler with a flow control ball valve on one side, a central Y-coupler with a flow control ball valve and a cold water Y-coupler on the other side. A unique configuration derived by twisting the connecting hoses maintains the central Y-coupler in an upright position. The system has been designed to mount to the hot and cold water faucets used by the washing machine no matter what the spacing is. It allows the temperature of the water to be preset so that each time the control valve is opened the proper temperature water is provided and no adjustments are required while providing full pressure hot and cold water to a washing machine.

  • Patent number: 7346040
Abstract: A single cable or single antenna space-time fast modem system is described. Very high data transfer rates are accomplished using a space-time MIMO transceiver in combination with a unique space-time antenna reduction chamber and a frequency spectrum shifting module. The system readily connects to any existing communications infrastructure. The high speed data modem system incorporates a MIMO space-time wireless transceiver, yet unlike existing space-time wireless systems, requires only a single cable or antenna to achieve very high data transfer rates.

  • Patent number: 7344482
Abstract: This new and unique adjustable cantilevered aquatic exercise device offers a clean modern appearing device for exercising on the side of a swimming pool or from the end of a diving board. By mounting two extension arms to two horizontal support arms connected and mounted to the pool deck surface by mounting plates, angle-mounting brackets or slid over the end of the diving board, a single exercise bar may be relocated between pluralities of orifices on the extension arms to achieve a wide variety of elevations to exercise at the side of a swimming pool. This device can be pivoted back from the edge of the pool and remains completely out of the water when in use, not requiring the need to be constructed from expensive materials, and may be finished with a wide variety of rust preventative and cushioned coatings.

  • Patent number: 7341272
Abstract: An expanding independent load suspension system that incorporates a square walking beam, unique bushings, and multiple expanding sliding units to spread the load bearing tires evenly over the surface instead of grouping them close together. With the weight of the vehicle having the ability to pivot over three separate axes, it maintains an equal pressure on all the tires no matter what the surface conditions. Additional benefits are derived by the separation of the tires with the new design of the square walking beam causing less damage to the roadways. The vehicle has been designed to operate on the highways in the conventional ten-foot width, and then expand to a maximum of twenty feet to move large loads with the permits required.
