  • Patent number: 7337712
Abstract: A vessel for separating and collecting excess oil from deep fried foods disposed therein before the deep fried foods are sauted. A colander is rotatably mounted in a pot and holds the fried foods. A gear train operatively connects a motor to the colander. The motor is operatively connected to, and rotates, the colander to centrifugally force the excess oil from the deep fried foods out therefrom and collect in the pot. A handle is replaceably attached to the pot by apparatus that utilizes the weight of the handle to prevent the handle from detaching from the pot.

  • Patent number: 7325350
Abstract: A firearm for extinguishing a fire from a position remote from the fire. A cartridge is disposed in, and is selectively discharged from, a pistol. The cartridge includes a head containing a pressurized fire extinguishant and a casing containing a propellent. The casing is removably attached to the head by mating portions of hook and loop fasteners so as to allow the casing and the head to be independent of each other prior to use. The bead has a lip containing a chamber communicating with the pressurized fire extinguishant therein and which exits through through bores in both sides of the lip, respectively. A release pin is removed from the through bores and the firing apparatus is activated causing the cartridge to exit the barrel and expel the pressurized fire extinguishant through the through bores on its way to the fire during use.

  • Patent number: 7319199
Abstract: A fusible electric slide switch. A fuse carrier is slidably mounted to a base, and has a pair of recesses holding fuses. A cover captures the fuse carrier between itself and the base, and has a pair of through slots aligning with the pair of recesses when the fuse carrier is in the off position so as to allow access to the fuses, and not aligning with, so as to allow the cover to conceal, the pair of recesses when the fuse carrier is in the on position so as to prevent contact with electrical components by a user. The cover further has spring contacts aligning with the pair of recesses when the fuse carrier is in the on position so as to apply a force to maintain the fuses in the pair of recesses.

  • Patent number: 7249542
Abstract: A self-adjusting variable grip locking plier for gripping a workpiece. The plier includes a body, a handle, and a wedge. The plier is designed for extremely fast set up and for easily gripping and holding the workpiece with one hand with absolutely no adjustments ever to make, and provides a larger than ordinary jaw capacity in a very compact design. The plier grips and holds the workpiece with a light or tremendous gripping force with no adjustments ever to make, and with an extremely fast unlocking system, while at the same time fitting into the palm of one hand. When the workpiece is grasped, one simply ratchets the handle until the desired grip is obtained. The more times one squeezes the handle the tighter the grip. This automatically locks the plier at the desired grip. To release the plier one simply pushes the wedge back into the body with the palm of one hand.

  • Patent number: 7249435
Abstract: A device for holding a bucket of frozen chum is fabricated primarily out of flexible plastic material that is integrally formed with a toroidal sleeve there around. The toroidal sleeve has a plastic foam floatation element housed therein, so that a frozen bucket of chum that is installed and contained in a cylindrical component of the device is maintained at a right distance below the surface of a body of water in which the device has been deployed. A plurality of holes are provided in components of the device, so that chum matter can pass there through as the frozen chum melts and exits the device into the surrounding body of water to attract fish. The device is also provided with a drawstring that cooperates with an upper edge of the cylindrical containing component to captivate the frozen bucket of chum therein.
