  • Patent number: 7458170
Abstract: An apparatus that accurately measures rope, wire, tubing and other materials is herein disclosed. A variety of different-sized models would possess different sized openings. One model with a one-inch opening would be used to measure small wire and cable. Another model with approximately a 3-inch opening would be used for larger electrical cables, rope, tubing and the like. An even large model would be available for measuring ductwork, hoses, and other large diameter material. As the material is pulled through the opening, an optical sensor, similar to that used on an optical computer mouse, accurately measures the material to the fraction of an inch. A mechanical sensor, utilizing a guide wheel is also envisioned. The length is displayed on a digital readout on the perimeter of the invention that is provided with a power button, reset button and the like.

  • Patent number: 7455027
Abstract: A convertible cover for pontoon boats comprises a fabric or cloth cover attached to a set of runners. The invention utilizes a track system on both sides of the boat with round runners. Sliding supports with three glide wheels each ride along these runners and match with an equal runner on the opposite side of the boat. The runners glide along a track guide system mounted onto the handrails of the pontoon boat. The cover glides along the track when manipulated by the user and enables the user to effectively and quickly cover the pontoon boat during storage or other times of inactivity. To remove the cover, it is simply pushed backwards where all supports and the tarp are stored at the rear. To deploy, it is simply pulled by a strap to completely and automatically cover the whole boat.

  • Patent number: 7431056
Abstract: The invention as presently conceived discloses a device for an environmentally safe storage and organization of multiple funnels, especially, but not limited to, those funnels conventionally used in servicing motor vehicles. The new and novel device's industrial design resembles an empty five-gallon bucket with a detachable lid having multiple openings cut into the lid to accept the work funnels for environmental safe draining in an upright position, storage and proper organization. Each opening leads to a dedicated fluid collection device. After use, the remaining fluids in the funnels are allowed to collect via gravity within fluid collection device within the sealed bucket-like container.

  • Patent number: 7422163
Abstract: A method and system for a ceiling fan with an integral water mister apparatus, particularly for outdoor use, includes a conventional ceiling fan having a multi-speed motor, forward and reverse directional capabilities and a plurality of rotating blades in a variety of diameter sizes. A series of water dispensing ports are directly above the blades toward the outer perimeter that selectably dispense a fine water mist. The mist is obtained by connecting ?? tubing to an available standard water supply and having said tubing conduct the water through a six by two inch, five micron, polyphosphate filter. The filtered water then travels through the tubing attached to the apparatus to the misting dispensing nozzles. The fine mist will evaporate quickly in hot weather producing a cooling effect without significantly wetting surrounding objects. The air circulation provided by the fan blades enhances the distribution of the mist and the cooling effect.
