Abstract: The present invention comprises an apparatus to aid in the storage, display, and transportation of fishing lures. A conventional glass bottle or jar has lure retaining notches for receiving the lure hooks around the periphery of the opening of the bottle or jar for the retention of said lures. A lid with an extruding lip portion is also provided to aid in retaining said lures and protecting the user from accidental impairment with the lure hook.
Abstract: An aesthetic and useful device for enclosing a vacuum pump within a framed enclosure for the evacuation of air from used containers is herein disclosed. An enclosure for a vacuum pump comprises a latching access door, a lid, and a container-staging area that extends downward, effectively housing a vacuum pump supported by an interior shelf. A vacuum chamber for collecting any entrained liquids or solids from used containers is coupled at one end to vacuum plumbing extending from the inlet of the vacuum pump and at the other end to a container adapter. The container adapter has a stepped female diameter opening to accommodate various sized container mouths. A sealed and latched access door maintains the integrity of the vacuum chamber as well as provides an aesthetic and protective shroud for the vacuum pump.
Abstract: The present invention includes at least one knee pad and an associated method of attaching work quality external kneepads onto work pants by an attachment fastener. The attachment fastener preferably includes a commercial quality hook and loop fastener. The present invention adapts a pair of conventional work trousers to accept, when needed, conventional padded knee protectors. By using hook and loop fasteners, the kneepads can be quickly and simply attached and detached without having uncomfortable straps around the leg and therefore overcomes prior art shortcomings of hindering blood circulation. Thus, the direct attachment to the pants in lieu of straps means that there are no straps to cut into legs or cut off circulation. An additional benefit to this system is the convenience of laundering the work clothes.
Abstract: The invention as presently conceived discloses a chemical formula for the composition of a liquid topical analgesic. Alternate and additional essential oils or plant- and/or vegetable-derived oils are anticipated to be used as well.
Abstract: A heating element for a fuel tank takes the form of an immersion heater commonly used in process applications to heat the contents of a fuel tank. The heater would be encased within a well for ease of servicing and replacement as well as safety. The tank heater would be wired in parallel with an engine block heater and connected to a suitable power cord, which would be plugged into a receptacle powered by alternating current. This feature allows the energizing of two heaters from only power cord and is identical to the procedure followed for only the block heater. The thermostat would be provided with an operating thermostat to keep the diesel fuel at the proper temperature, as well as an over-limit termination device for safety purposes.
