  • Patent number: 7204919
Abstract: Disclosed is a capping board for use to support anodes and cathodes within adjacent electrolytic cells, which has a plurality of individual seats positioned in spaced apart relationship all along its length to receive and support hanging legs projecting from these anodes and cathodes. This capping board is improved in that it has at least one sheet or wire of electrically conductive material embedded therein. This sheet or wire extends over the length of the board and is shaped and positioned so that part of its extends externally within at least some of the seats so as to allow electrical contact of the legs of either the anodes or the cathodes and to allow fast dissipation of heat in the case of a short circuit.

  • Patent number: 7202829
Abstract: A wide band mobile antenna assembly having a whip, a base defining a housing, an adaptor extending on top of the base above the housing, and a mounting element extending in the housing. The mounting element has two opposite PCB mounting side surfaces and two opposite coil mounting surfaces. A PCB is mounted on each of the corresponding PCB mounting side surfaces. A matching circuitry is integrated on the two PCBs. The matching circuitry has a conductor for connection to the whip when the whip is inserted in the adaptor, and a conductor for external cable connection. The matching circuitry has a series resonant network operatively connected to a parallel resonant network for increasing a bandwidth of the antenna assembly. The series and resonant networks each have a coil mounted to the corresponding coil mounting surface.

  • Patent number: 7198566
Abstract: Disclosed is a loin puller for trimming off the backfat of a loin that has been scribed from a belly. This loin puller has a frame on which is mounted a conveying system for engaging the loin and moving it towards a cutting zone. In this zone, a cutting tool is mounted for engaging the loin when it is moved by the conveying system, and for cutting the backfat to be trimmed off from the loin, with the so-cut backfat remaining attached to the belly. The cutting tool has two blades that are preferably controlled independently from each other. One of these blades is arcuate and positioned onto the frame so as to engage at least one part of the loin from a side of the loin opposite to the belly, and to cut the backfat to be trimmed from the loin. The other blade is L-shaped and positioned onto the frame so as to engage another part of the loin and cut the backfat to be trimmed thereof directly from the scribing line just below the back ribs of the loin.

  • Patent number: 7168643
Abstract: The present invention discloses a leaf snatcher consisting of a protective grille, a blade activated by a motor. The blade is shaped so as to have vacuum capabilities to suck the unwanted leaves and debris. The leaf snatcher is generally setup over a waste container to receive the leaves and debris sucked by the blade. When the grille is lifted, it automatically stops the blade for increased safety.

  • Patent number: 7134559
Abstract: An eyeglass frame holder for holding and displaying eyeglasses of different size and thickness. The eyeglass frame holder has one or more vertical posts to which one or more supporting members are for supporting an eyeglass frame having two glass retaining portions joined by a bridge portion. A pair of retaining pins are symmetrically mounted onto each of the supporting members at a short distance from the vertical post to which the supporting member is attached. Each supporting member is connected to the vertical post in such a way so as to project horizontally from it. Each supporting member is also shaped and sized to fit into and support the bridge portion of the eyeglass frame. The pair of retaining pins extend coaxially in an horizontal direction perpendicular to the vertical post so as to come into contact and hold the glass retaining portions on both sides of the bridge portion below the same where the eyeglass frame is positioned onto the supporting member.

  • Patent number: 7121483
Abstract: A liquid manure spreading tool bar for use on a manure spreader, wherein the manure spreader has a tank and a pump, and wherein the spreading tool bar has a supporting frame externally mounted onto the tank, a manure distributor mounted onto the supporting frame, a vertically extending telescopic conduit made of a rigid material, and at least one manure discharging pipes connected to a corresponding outlet of the manure distributor. The supporting frame is movable in an up and down position with respect to the tank. Each of the manure discharging pipes is made of a rigid material and is vertically movable together with the frame and the manure distributor. The telescopic conduit has one end connected to the manure distributor while the other end is connected to the pump so as to feed the manure pumped from the tank to the manure distributor. In as much as the telescopic conduit and discharging pipes are not flexible, they cannot break.

  • Patent number: 7083758
Abstract: Disclosed is a free flowing dry back-up material which comprises: from 67 to 96% by weight of fly-ash; from 2 to 15% by weight of a heat sensitive binder such as boric acid; from 2 to 7% by weight of a non-wetting agent such as calcium fluoride; from 0 to 10% by weight of a heat expandable material, viz. a material expandable as a function of the temperature such as vermiculite or graphite; and from 0 to 1% by weight of a dust suppressant such as kerosene. This material which is useful in particular in the aluminum industry has the advantages of being water free and free flowing, such avoiding the use of vibrator to position it into a shell. It also has a low density and a low thermal conductivity. Moreover, it is organic free as compared to the existing materials which use an organic binder to ensure a low temperature set; and it sets at a temperature lower than 400° F.

  • Patent number: 6941894
Abstract: A litter box for cats or other domestic animals, which comprises three pans insertable into each other to form a stack. The position of the pans is interchangeable and each pan has openings in its inferior part for filtration of an absorbing material used to solidify and absorb the organic wastes. The openings of each pan are located at positions different from the openings of the other pans in such a manner that the openings of each pair of adjacent pans be vertically out of line. One advantage of this litter box is that it is not necessary to use a shovel to pick up and dispose of the organic wastes.
