Abstract: A refrigerator door comprises an inner panel and an outer panel forming the wall of the door and has a drink container removably associated with the inner panel. A drink-delivery tube communicates with the interior of the container and is hingedly movable against a resilient bias from an inoperative position to a delivery position, the tube extending through the wall of the door and terminating in a spout. A slide is associated with the tube for effecting such movement thereof and is movable from the outside of the door in a vertical opening formed in the outer panel of the door wall. A compartment accessible from the outside of the door without opening the same is provided in the door, the compartment being divided into a lower compartment for placement of a cup and an upper compartment for reception of the tube spout. A pivotal partition controllable by the slide separates the lower compartment from the upper compartment.
Abstract: A hair trimmer comprises a first cutter reciprocatory relative to a second cutter, the two cutters having parallel cutting edges provided with teeth; a resilient element urging the two cutters towards one another; and a coupling member coupled to the first cutter. The resilient element includes a central portion acting on the second cutter and adjoined by two resilient limbs extending from the central portion through an opening in the first cutter and then away from one another in opposite directions corresponding to the directions of the reciprocatory movement of the first cutter, the distal ends of the resilient limbs exerting pressure on the first cutter and bearing against the coupling member.
Abstract: Apparatus for mixing foodstuffs comprises a bowl having a hole in its bottom, a removable cover for closing the bowl, and a rotary cutter positioned in the lower portion of the bowl and having a central bore. A coupling shaft extends through the central bore of the rotary cutter and the hole in the bowl bottom to effect rotation of the rotary cutter when the removable cover is placed on the bowl, the upper end of the coupling shaft being journalled on the under side of the removable cover and the lower end of the coupling shaft being detachably coupled to a drive means. Resilient means is associated with the rotary cutter and cooperates with the bowl for connecting the rotary cutter to the bowl in the axial direction of the coupling shaft.
Abstract: A drive mechanism for a dry shaver comprising a shear foil and a cutter reciprocatory relative to the shear foil includes a single-phase synchronous motor having a drive shaft. A cam is mounted on the drive shaft, and a transmission roller is constantly in contact with the cam. The surface of at least one of the cam and the transmission roller is provided with a layer approximately 1 mm in thickness of an elastic material.

Abstract: The invention relates to a drive mechanism which comprises a single-phase synchronous motor (5) for converting the rotation of the motor shaft (3) into a pulsating axial movement by means of an eccentric cam (25). The motor shaft (3) carries a coaxial cylindrical body (13) whose eccentric cam (25) co-operates with a piston rod. The drive-shaft system comprising the motor shaft and body is supported in a multiple bearing comprising a broad-area bearing (23) for the circumferential surface (21) of the cylindrical body (13) and a shaft bearing (19) for the shaft end (15) which projects from the body (13) at the end which is remote from the motor (5). The end portion (29) of the piston rod is guided so as to be axially slidable.
Abstract: A shaving unit for a dry-shaving apparatus comprises an external first cutting member with an annular wall portion formed with hair-entry apertures, and a second internal cutting member which is cooperable with the first cutting member and which comprises a ring of cutters which second cutting member can be driven relative to the first cutting member with an oscillatory rotational movement. The first and second cutting members are interconnected by at least two resilient elements, each of which extends substantially radially of the rotational axis of the second cutting member and has an end connected to the first cutting member and an end connected to the second cutting member. The elastic properties of the resilient elements are such as to permit the oscillatory rotational movement of the second cutting member, but the resilient elements are rigid in directions extending substantially parallel to and radially of the rotational axis of the second cutting member.

Abstract: A temperature control and indicating arrangement comprises an electric heating element; a thermostat connected in series with the heating element and responsive to the heat generated thereby; and structure responsive to the operation of the thermostat for indicating when the temperature in the region of the thermostat reaches a value determined by the thermostat. Included are a resettable electronic counter; a circuit for resetting the counter each time a power supply is connected to the arrangement; a detector for detecting cyclically repetitive switching operations of the thermostat and for causing the counter to count such operations immediately following each resetting of the counter; and counter-stop circuit for stopping the counter at a given count position corresponding to a count value greater than unity. The indicating structure includes a visual indicator electrically coupled to the counter to provide a visible indication when the counter is in the given count position.
Abstract: A coffee maker comprises a housing and a water tank formed as a unitary plastic part, the housing having a horizontal base and a wall extending perpendicularly to the base, the water tank extending horizontally from the upper portion of such wall. Included are a filter device and a flow heater for heating water from the water tank and feeding the same to the filter device. Provision is made for mounting the flow heater on the rear side of the housing wall; and a cover is provided for enclosing the mounted flow heater.
