  • Patent number: 6203107
Abstract: A chair that includes a frame and a seat disposed there above, and an upwardly protruding back support that is located in an area behind the seat. A front part of the back support has a lumbar support device that is disposed a certain level above the seat to support the lumbar spine and/or pelvis rim of the user. The seat is movable relative to the frame between the forward starting position, on the one hand, in which the seat is remote from the back support and is the normal position when the seat is not used by a sitting person and a rear end position, on the other hand, has a lumbar support in which the seat has moved closer to the back support. More particularly, it is closer for the purpose of bringing the pelvis of the person sitting on the seat to partially shift in against or below the lumbar support device.

  • Patent number: 5851052
Abstract: The foldable stool has a triangular shaped seat with three upper legs attached to the corners of the seat. A leg holder is attached to the bottom portion of each upper leg. The leg holders define a lateral opening that has an asymmetrical shape. A Y-shaped central connector units holds the leg holders together. The connector has irregular shaped extensions that are insertable into the irregular shaped lateral openings of the leg holder when the leg holder is turned into a first position. After being inserted, the leg holder may be rotated into a second position to securely hold the leg holder and so that the upper leg can be inserted into the leg holder and rest on a circular seat or flange that is disposed inside the leg holder. Lower legs are inserted into the leg holders. When it is desirable to collapse the foldable stool, the lower legs are pushed into the upper leg by pressing the knob to disengage the knob from the leg holder.

  • Patent number: 5799948
Abstract: A device for limiting, controlling and disposing leached lead. Shooting is made through an elastic layer, providing a watertight cover which closes after the passage of a projectile, the latter subsequently being arrested in a projectile-arresting material kept in an enclosed space created by a watertight layer. Precepition water penetrating the minimal projection penetrating holes is drained via the arresting material, along the inclined insides of the watertight layer, down to a lowermost point where the water is collected by a drainage line.
