  • Patent number: 6280141
Abstract: The rotating plate of the system is fixed in rotation with the rotor by a driver with two rigid driving tracks extending axially and diametrically opposite in being fixed in rotation with the rotor. Each track engages with one of two driving fingers fixed in rotation with the rotating plate and diametrically opposite on this latter. Each track has two webs between which one finger is engaged with the result of following on this track a rectilinear trajectory, parallel to the rotor axis and a circular arc trajectory centerd on this axis, respectively in the case of change of collective and cyclic pitch.

  • Patent number: 6280614
Abstract: A water-tight fiberglass septic tank is strong enough to withstand live loads. The fiberglass septic tank is preferably designed with integral ribs to for structural strength. In one preferred embodiment, the tank is made in two unequal halves. The lower half comprises the major portion of the tank and includes a bottom, two endwalls and two sidewalls. The upper half comprises a cover. This arrangement allows the horizontal seam to be placed above the internal waterline, thereby protecting the seam from exposure to sewage. At least one of the endwalls includes a raised top portion that allows a pipe to be located near the top of the lower portion without passing through the seam between the upper and lower portions of the tank. The endwalls are also curved to allow for angled inlet and outlet pipe connections. The ribs are preferably internal and hollow. The lower portion of the tank is also preferably flat bottomed. A provision has been made for a self-locating baffle if required.

  • Patent number: 6280900
Abstract: A radiation-sensitive resin composition comprising (a) a resin represented by a copolymer of p-hydroxystyrene and t-butyl (meth)acrylate and a copolymer of p-hydroxystyrene and p-t-butoxystyrene, (b) a photoacid generator, and (c) a quaternary ammonium salt compound represented by tetramethylammonium adamantanecarboxylate, tetramethylammonium oxalate, tetraethylammonium pyruvate. The radiation-sensitive resin composition is capable of producing a rectangular resist pattern while preventing the top edge of the pattern from rounding, which is a big problem in microprocessing of design dimensions of about 0.20 &mgr;m with a thin film. The radiation-sensitive resin composition is highly sensitive to deep ultraviolet radiation, X-rays, and charged particle rays and exhibits excellent sensitivity, resolution, and the like.

  • Patent number: 6267704
Abstract: A multiple-speed transmission wheel hub for imparting torque to a drive wheel includes a hub shell formed around a wheel axis and a clutch wheel formed around the wheel axis and axially movable between at least first and second speed positions. First gearing couples the clutch wheel to the hub shell when the clutch wheel is in the first position producing a first transmission speed. Second gearing couples the clutch wheel in the second speed position with the hub shell producing a second transmission speed. A speed-shifting cam is disposed on the axis and axially rotatable between at least first and second speed positions, with helical segments formed on a surface of the clutch wheel facing the cam, the helical segments coupling to the cam to translate rotation of the cam into axial displacement of the clutch wheel both from the second speed position to the first speed position and from the first speed position to the second speed position.

  • Patent number: 6267307
Abstract: The injector comprises a tip having at least one outlet orifice (7) for fuel delivered to an engine combustion chamber. A ceramic coating (14) is deposited on the external face of the tip, preferably in a kink (12) bounding a recess in this external face, at least around and immediately downstream of the outlet orifice (7) relative to the direction in which the fuel is delivered. This invention is applicable to fuel injectors with a ceramic coating to protect against deposits of carbon oil for use with spark-ignition and direct injection internal combustion engines.

  • Patent number: 6267053
Abstract: A shell featuring a main body formed of a hard and flexible sheet-like substance, such as stainless steel, is substituted for the rubber blanket of a blanket cylinder in a lithograph offset press. Perforating material that includes spaced teeth with flat edges are mounted on the impression cylinder and engage the main body of the shell to form perforations without shoulder defects. Slitting or scoring may also be accomplished by the arrangement. Stabilizing strips are positioned upon the main body of the shell in sheet-fed press applications. Flexible rubber sheets are mounted to the ends of the main body. Blanket bars are also mounted to the flexible rubber sheets. The blanket bars engage the lock-up of the blanket cylinder to secure the shell in position.

  • Patent number: 6261492
Abstract: The essence of the method resides in that a recess (2) is made in the mounting surface, having the dimensions exceeding those of a chip (3). The chip (3) is gripped with a gripping member appearing as a tool (4) having a flat end and a capillary hole (5) flaring up towards the tool end, and is oriented above the recess (2). Before pressing the chip (3) into the recess (2) a dosed amount of a binder (6) is placed therein. The chip (3) is pressed into the binder (6) until the part of the flat end of the tool (4) which extends beyond the outlines of the chip (3) thrusts against the mounting surface. The pressing-in procedure is stopped as soon as the face surface of the chip (3) is coincided with the surface on which the recess (2) is made, whereupon the gripping tool is disengaged.
