Abstract: A manifolded multiple wand spray apparatus with internal cleaning brushes and a flush valve that is activated when the rods carrying the cleaning brushes are rotated is disclosed. Valves that redirect the flow of water away from the manifold for a brief period during which spray orifice cleaning can be accomplished and an air intake valve that will admit air into the manifold to speed the flushing and create a negative pressure in the spray wands so as to draw obstructing materials into the spray wand during flushing is also disclosed.

Abstract: A materials handling apparatus that is securable to a materials handling vehicle so as to permit an operator to position an arm carrying a pusher element over a stack of large heavy packages and to bring the pusher element to bear on the top package on the stack so as to push the package from the stack onto a carrier such as a pallet.

Abstract: A shield for a pop top beverage container that provides a barrier to foreign objects entering or exiting the container while permitting the flow of liquid from the container. The shield is formed of resilient and flexible material and is positioned adjacent to the inside of a shearable tab of a pop top container and secured there so that when the shear tab of the pop top is displaced inward into the container.quadrature.it causes the shield to deflect inward to permit the shear tab to pass and there after, resiliently repositions itself so that it forms a liquid traversable barrier positioned in the opening created by the displacement of the shearable tab.

Abstract: A swivel mount for mounting strap swivels to flexible structures is provided. The mount is formed of molded plastic material that is flexible in thin sections and rigid in heavy sections. A swivel mounting post having a heavy section is formed to project from a base that has a thin section, thereby providing a flexible mounting for securing the rigid post to a flexible structure. The preferred method of securing the swivel mount to the flexible structure is with an adhesive foam tape.

Abstract: A resilient pressure roller of the large type that is of unitary construction with a rigid core, a central body of rubber or synthetic rubber of one durometer and a thin outer shell of another durometer. The body is given a nonlinear longitudinal profile and the shell is given a profile different from that of the body. The differences in profiles of the body and shell, along with their different durometers sum to develop approximately uniform nip profiles along the nip so as to minimize hysteresis heating and degradation in the roller and thereby provide a roller of greatly extended life expectancy.

Abstract: A grading attachment for loader type utility vehicles is provided. The attachment secures to the front of the loader and has an overarching beam which ends in a set of ground engaging wheels. A drawbar is secured to the front of the beam at a ball and socket joint and movably retained at the back of the beam by a vertical channel so that the drawbar can be readily exchanged for another similar drawbar. The drawbar has a sleeve into which a mounting pin may be secured so as to permit the attaching and detaching of a grading implement.

Abstract: A flooring system which has a subflooring structure that is made up of two or more layers of boards laid across each other and spaced apart from each other to create an interconnected labyrinth of void spaces in the subfloor between a finished top floor and a base, an air moving device for moving air through the labyrinth to ventilate the subfloor structure and thereby reduce potentials for damage to the flooring system due to moisture build-up under the finished floor, and a humidistat positioned in the labyrinth of void spaces to detect moisture build-up and to activate the air moving device.

Abstract: A device for assisting a bowman in positioning and holding his bow in a draw by causing the plane of the bow to be drawn into a vertical plane and also by providing a steady rest for maintaining a stable position while in the draw. The device is a tether secured at one end to the lower limb of a bow and secured at the other end to the lower leg or foot of a bowman.

Abstract: A readily attached and detached covering for large surface areas. To use the wall covering, the hook members of a hook and loop fastener system are attached to the surface to be covered. One side of the covering material is such that it can serve as a loop member for the hook member. The covering material can be secured in place and removed repeatedly without the need of special tools or precautions. The cover material is a composite having a hook member engaging layer on one side, a resilient layer and a dimensionally stable layer so that the material in place over a surface is dimensionally stable in the plane of the surface and resiliently accommodating in the direction perpendicular to the surface.

Abstract: An athletic flooring system having a fixed resilient sleeper. Sleeve members are passed through bored holes in the sleeper and anchored to a base so as to restrict the horizontal movement of the sleeper while permitting the sleeper to flex resiliently in the vertical direction. The flexibility of the sleeper is further enhanced by the provision of transverse saw kerfs cut into the top and bottom surfaces of the sleeper.

Abstract: The invention provides a apparatus for and a method of storing watercraft above a body of water for extended periods of time, including periods when the body of water is frozen over. The apparatus involves flexible, inflatable, toroidal shaped floatation devices which have bands secured thereto for the purpose of positioning and securing the floatation devices relative to the watercraft. The floatation devices are provided with elongated inflation tubes which enable the inflation of the floatation devices from locations a distance from the floatation devices.

Abstract: A child's motivational toothbrush of unitary construction such that no part, of the toothbrush can be nondestructively detached so as to endanger a child. The toothbrush has as a part of its handle construction a three dimensional figure which has a cavity in which an electronic package is sealed, and from which an electronic activation switch is accessible to a user. When the activation switch is pressed the electronic package cycles through a program that produces sounds and electrical impulses that activate lights that blink on and off in a programmed sequence. The intersection between the handle and the toothbrush is provided with and aid for the clean and destructive detachment of the brush end from the handle end so that the brush end can be discarded and the handle end saved.

Abstract: The invention is for an athletic flooring system wherein the flooring substructures are proportioned and positioned so as to give to the flooring system preferred properties in point and area elasticity. The subfloor is made up of a first and a second wood subfloor wherein the first subfloor is less continuous and more elastic than the second subfloor. The subfloors act in cooperation with a pad and with void volumes distributed in the subfloor to give the flooring system elastic properties that will render the flooring system DIN certifiable under the DIN 18032, part 2, tests.

Abstract: This invention is for a process for making a formed, and compressed food material into a toroidal shape, between two continuous sheets of food grade plastic film, which are sealed to each other around the inner and outer perimeters of the toroidal shape. The process employs two polygonal forming cylinders which are translatable towards each other to perform the the forming, compressing, and sealing steps by translational motion of at least one of the cylinders, and thereafter to advance the food package formed thereby by the rotation of the polygonal cylinders. The process is characterized by its capability to preserve the purity of the food materials passing through the process.

Abstract: This invention is a protective eye shield that indexes to an inhalation gas providing nose hood and the hood's hoses to provide secure eye protection to a patient wearing such a hood during the performance of dental procedures. The shield further indexes to the temples and forehead of the wearer to provide secure and comfortable positioning of the shield. The shield cooperates with the inhalation hood in providing a shield against materials reaching the patients eyes.
