Abstract: The invention in its simplest form comprises a hinged cover for a fish receiving receptacle and the cover has a passage passing through the cover into which a frame containing a resiliently biased auxiliary door is secured. The bias urges the door against a stop which holds the door in the closed position so that the door may be opened in the inward direction by overcoming the biasing force. The stop is movable so that when the stop is disengaged from the door the bias will serve to hold the door in the open outward position.

Abstract: A wind fairing and mount wherein the wind fairing has attached to it an upper latching assembly and a lower pivot assembly and the latching and pivoting relationship between the assemblies is established and maintained relative to the fairing. The pivot assembly is attachable to the bumper mounts of a truck. The mount permits positional adjustment of the fairing relative to the truck along and about three axes at right angles to each other.

Abstract: A weedless jig having a bundle of individual fine stainless steel wires molded into the head of the jig to form a weed deflector. The wires are separable from each other to form an array of deflectors of the user's preference. The bundle of individual stainless steel wires is flexible and is mechanically interlocked in the jig head by a novel molding method.

Abstract: The invention in its simplest form is a one piece receptacle formed from a blank that is a flat sheet and where gusseted corners are individually folded and latched to form the receptacle. The latches at each end of the receptacle are joinable to add strength to the receptacle and to provide convenient carrying and/or pull handles. The receptacle may be provided with an integral cover which is secureable to the latches and strengthens and adds to the utility of the latches.

Abstract: A plug for the wheel bearing hub assembly of a truck wheel bearing. The plug is a substantially unitary article having as a part of its construction a magnetic rod which, when the plug is in place in the hub, will lie along the axis of revolution of the wheel and project towards the wheel bearing and reside in a cup-like structure which is a part of the plug. The magnetic rod serves to collect metallic particles from the bearing lubricating fluid.

Abstract: A disposable hygienic mask which is retrofitable to the nose and mouth contact areas of the face of an existing CPR dummy without damaging or permanently altering the face of the dummy. The mask is provided with filter chambers which are insertable in and indexed to the air passages of a CPR dummy and the chambers are configured to receive replaceable flexible filters. The mask, its securements, and its filters do not appreciably modify the flexibility, the functions, or the features of the CPR dummy to which it is attached.

Abstract: An improved detachable tooth bar for use with excavating buckets wherein the improvements are in the provision of stops against which the lip of the bucket bears; in the positioning of the outermost tooth of the tooth bar so as to be near the corner between the lip of the bucket and the upright side of the bucket in cooperation with; the provision of a projection of the bar beyond the outside edges of the bucket serve to break up the material through which the bucket is pressed and thereby avoid the build-up of distorting forces on the bar's mounting plate and mounting plate securement means.

Abstract: This invention is related to a tool for the dental flossing of teeth and a precut length of dental floss having gripping attachments secured to the ends of the length of floss. The precut length(s) of floss are configured so as to facilitate the gripping of the attachments by the flossing tool. The tool is fully operable by the use of one hand.

Abstract: An improved explosion proof battery wherein the improvement comprises the separation of the gas flows in and out of each chamber from each other and the provision of check valves to each independent gas path to prevent the propagation of gas ignition from one cell to its neighbors when that ignition arises from within the battery. The battery and all of its elements are fabricated as a single substantially unitary structure.

Abstract: This invention is an exercising device for use by archers as a practice aid and a means for strengthening the muscle groups used for drawing and holding the draw of a bow and as a warm up device preparatory for practice or shooting. The device is characterized by its compactness and substantially unitary construction. The device is a novel application of relatively slow recovery elastic type materials to provide a non snap back property to the device. The principle components for the device are; a continuous loop of slow recovery elastic belting passing through a tubular grip at one side and through a string block or rod at the other side and the string block is provided with means for attaching a bow string simulator of the user's choice.

Abstract: A non-slip floor mat assembly made from a plurality of rectangular shaped floor mat panels which are coupled together provide a mat with a number of improved safety features including non-slip, not dangerous to high heels and good drainage. Each of the floor mat panels is integrally molded with a plurality of parallel extending first elongate members on one portion of each of the floor mat panels, and a plurality of parallel extending second elongate members on another portion of each of the floor mat panels. The first elongate members extend in a different direction to the second elongate members and openings are provided between the elongate members. Parallel ridges with breaks between are provided extending in line along the elongate members to provide a tread surface, and cross members extend across and support the first and second elongate members positioned below the tread surface.

Abstract: A motor driven apparatus for performing secondary or auxiliary functions such as cutting slots, chamfering, milling flats, removing protrusions and the like. The apparatus comprises a motor having a multiplicity of cutting tools mounted to the shaft, a box like housing covering the shaft and tools, guides incorporated into the construction of the top and three sides of the housing, and the guides serve to position and guide work pieces into the cutters to perform common auxiliary or secondary operations on work pieces.

Abstract: An apparatus for facilitating the securing of the free end of a line to a line attachment. Such attachments might be hook eyes, swivels, lures, fishing leaders, and the like which are commonly used in fishing with hook and line. The apparatus employs a rotating arm which wraps the free end of a line around the source line without twisting the source line to facilitate the tying of a clinch knot and other similar knots. The instrument has incorporated in or attachable to its structure; a line cutter, attachment holding means, a novel hook eye threader, and a light.

Abstract: Apparatus for eliminating the possibility of propagation of gas ignition from the outside to the interior of wet cell batteries such as those used in autos, boats, tractors and the like. The invention in its simplest form is characterized by a set of chambers attached to or incorporated with the structure of a wet cell battery to form a single compact explosion proof battery assembly. The chambers contain non flammable liquid through which gases traveling to and from the interior of the battery pass and thereby create a barrier to the propagation of ignition from the outside of the battery to the interior of the battery. Supporting inventive means are provided to make the apparatus fully functional and practical. Such supporting means include an injection fill means, a liquid level indicator and a pressure release tube for conducting gases safely away from the apparatus.

Abstract: The device of this invention performs the functions of one hand in performing a variety of the tasks ordinarily requiring two hands while doing needle craft, yarn work and the like. The invention may serve those having the use of both hands but is specifically developed to meet the needs of those who have the use of only one hand. The device is characterized by a stand having a base and an upright standard and a horizontal arm joined to the top of the standard by means of a free pin hinge. In the mid region of the standard is positioned a rotatable tray having upward angled pegs around its perimeter for holding yarns, strands, spools and the like and the tray has in its top surface shallow troughs for holding small implements, needles, hooks and the like. The top surface of the horizontal arm has a spring loaded clamp near its free end and an upward directed binding post near the clamp and a plate having a multiplicity of various sized holes passing through the plate and the arm below the plate.

Abstract: A display island moving means characterized by two long substantially horizontal plates which are supported a fraction of an inch above a floor by means of rollers such as casters and upon which the leveling feet or legs of a display island may be supported during the moving of the island from place to place. Each of the two longitudinal horizontal plates supports the multiple legs of one side of the display island and the two horizontal plates are joined to each other in assembly so that the plates are prevented from converging or diverging during movement of the display island.

Abstract: A floor mat assembly is disclosed which is molded from resilient plastic material, and made up of only two different elements, mat modules and ramp strips. The mat module comprises a rectangular shape with two adjoining edges, each of the edges having an upper coupling edge flap with a row of downward directed projections, and two other adjoining edges, each of the other edges having a lower coupling edge flap with a row of vertical holes to couple with a row of projections on an upper coupling edge flap of a ramp strip or an adjoining mat module. The ramp strip comprises a tapered face with an upper coupling edge flap adjacent the tapered face, and a lower coupling edge flap joined by a severable link to the upper coupling edge flap, the lower coupling edge flap of the ramp strip to couple with an upper coupling edge flap of a mat module, and when the link is severed, the upper coupling edge flap of the ramp strip to couple with a lower coupling edge flap of a mat module.
