  • Patent number: 4140031
Abstract: A processing device capable of starting the sequence of the speed change operations automatically in the gearbox of a vehicle, such as the automatic transmission of a truck. A first comparator (302) compares the data received from a gearbox condition detecting device (500) and that received from a speed ratio selection device (200). In the event of a difference, the comparator (302) sends to a gearbox control device (400) either a pulse for increasing by one speed ratio, or a pulse for decreasing by one speed ratio.

  • Patent number: 4081940
Abstract: A system and method for erecting a structure elevated off the ground, including rigidly installing a series of posts the upper ends of which lie in a horizontal plane. Sheet material is applied to the ground beneath the structure to be erected to impede the growth of vegetation. On top of each of the posts is placed the tubular portion of a ground saddle. Two wooden joists are placed in each ground saddle to form a series of parallel beams. The beams are fastened in the ground saddles, and on top of the beams there is fastened a plurality of plane saddle devices. Within the plain saddle devices there is fastened a series of substantially parallel joists which are oriented perpendicular to the series of beams. • Patent number: 4082522
Abstract: A system wherein a first dust-containing gas current is jetted out through a jetting port. A gas current is jetted out from a direction opposed to the first gas current, and both gas currents are made to collide with each other. The flow velocity of the dust-containing gas current is made to quickly and infinitely approach zero and only the contained dust is made to advance by its inertia force. A washing liquid is sent into the gas collision system, and the dust in the gas current is made to collide with the washing liquid at a high velocity by its inertia force. The dust in the gas is caught with the washing liquid. To make the dust-containing gas current collide with the gas current opposed to it, the dust-containing gas is pressed into a dust collector with means, such as a pump, and is jetted out through jetting ports opposed to each other in the dust collector.

  • Patent number: 4076256
Abstract: A toy phonograph of the type having an annular outer record, and an inner record arranged concentrically inwardly of the outer record for simultaneous rotation therewith, with the outer record having its grooved top surface disposed slightly higher than that of the inner record. For shifting a reproducing stylus from the outer to the inner record across a spacing therebetween during playback, a shift stylus is carried by a pickup arm at the rear of the reproducing stylus. Shorter than the reproducing stylus, the shift stylus is adapted to ride in a groove in the outer record to permit the reproducing stylus to be carried across the spacing between the records by the pickup arm. The reproducing stylus engages and starts following a groove in the inner record as the shift stylus leaves the outer record.

  • Patent number: 4076851
Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing fine deodorized soybean powder in which washed and dyhydrated soybeans are pressed flat to a degree not to remove fat from the vegetable. The pressed soybeans are: dried to a moisture content of about 3% in a low temperature atmosphere; coarsely ground to the grain size of mesh; and stripped of the seed coats to leave only the seed leaves by a blast of air. The seed leaves are cooked to deodorize them for a short time period and at the same time excess moisture is removed from the seed leaves by vacuum suction. The seed leaves are ground to a grain size of 80 - 90 mesh and the seed leaves are further finely ground to a grain size of 1000 mesh.
