Abstract: A new and improved spray can control apparatus includes a handle assembly, a telescopically extensible extension assembly connected to the handle assembly, and a spray can holding assembly connected to the extension assembly. A spray control actuation assembly includes a hand-operated actuator assembly supported by the handle assembly, a flexible member connected to the hand-operated actuator assembly and extending along the extension assembly, and a can nozzle actuator assembly connected to the flexible member and supported by the extension assembly. The can nozzle actuator assembly actuates a can nozzle when the hand-operated actuator assembly is actuated. The handle assembly includes a first hand-held handle member connected to the extension assembly, two strut members attached to the first hand-held handle member and projecting therefrom, and a second hand-held handle member connected to the two strut members.
Abstract: A board game includes a game board over which game pieces move across squares identifying different categories of questions. The game also includes a timer, dice, a dice thrower, and several categories of question cards.
Abstract: A new and improved apparatus for signalling accuracy of a path of a projectile moving on a floor or ground surface includes an audible signal assembly located above and near floor or ground level. The audible signal assembly provides an audible signal when a target element of the assembly is hit by a projectile that moves along the floor or ground. A support assembly supports the audible signal assembly above and near enough to the floor or ground, such that the target element of the audible signal assembly can be hit by the moving projectile. The support assembly includes two triangular-shaped end units in which bases of the end units are supported by the floor or ground surface. Traverse rod supports are connected to the end units near apices of the end units. A traverse rod extends traversely between the end units and is supported by the traverse rod supports. The audible signal assembly is supported by the traverse rod.
Abstract: A new and improved automobile locator apparatus includes a base member adapted to fit onto a top edge of an automobile window, an identifier element, and an adjustable assembly, connected between the base member and the identifier element, for orienting the identifier element with respect to the base member at a variety of selectable orientations. The adjustable orientation assembly includes a first element containing a first uneven surface connected to the base member and a second element containing a second uneven surface connected to the identifier element. A spring urges the first element and the second element together when a selected orientation of the identifier element with respect to the base member has been made. The identifier element may be an internally illuminated flat panel that employs fiber optics. Indicia are placed on top of the internally illuminated flat panel element to provide for specific identification information.
Abstract: A new and improved wide area air removal apparatus includes at least one air duct that traverses a portion of the wide area and includes a plurality of apertures arrayed along the length of the air duct. An electric fan assembly is connected to the plural-aperture-including air duct for creating a vacuum in the plural-aperture-including air duct and for moving air from the wide area through the apertures and through the air duct to outside the air duct. The air that is removed from the wide area can be filtered and returned to the wide area; or it can be moved outside the wide area. The air that is removed from the wide area can be laden with smoke or other odor-bearing substances. The wide area can be a room in a building. The plural-aperture-including air duct may include a plurality of air duct branches. In addition, ash tray collars may be provided for placement circumferentially around ash trays. The ash tray collars include apertures for drawing in air adjacent to the ash trays.
Abstract: An inflatable flexible bladder is mounted on the surface of a weightlifter's bench to provide support to the spinal region. A pressure device activatable by the hand or foot of the weightlifter is employed to provide desired supporting internal pressure to the bladder. In an alternative embodiment, the inflatable bladder is mounted on an axially traversing carriage so that its longitudinal position on the weightlifting bench may be adjusted to comfortably fit weightlifters of varying size. A locking assembly is provided to fix the carriage in place after adjustment.
Abstract: A padlock protector which prevents the shackles of the padlock from being cut by bolt cutters. In its simplest form, the protector is a U-shaped device which contains access openings for the padlock shackles on the bottom and having front and back sections which cover the vertical shafts of the shackles while still allowing room for the padlock to fit through the opening of the device to be secured. In a more elaborate alternatively preferred form, the protector, in addition to the above, contains a front section which extends from the top of the padlock to the bottom of the padlock, a lower section which provides access to the keyhole and protection to the keyhole, and a tough flexible strap connecting the lower section of the protector to a padlock shackle.
