Abstract: An apparatus for replacing rejected articles, in particular blister packs, includes an additional magazine situated beside the feeding line and aimed at receiving and housing, arranged in pile, the articles, which are to be withdrawn when necessary to replace the rejected articles. An elevating member is connected to the additional magazine and controls the stepwise movement of means supporting the pile of articles in step relation with accumulation of the articles inside the additional magazine or with withdrawal of a single article to be fed to the feeding line, from the top of said pile. A transferring device, situated above the additional magazine, is equipped with gripping means, which transfer the group of articles into the additional magazine, in order to form the pile of articles, and which withdraw single articles from the top of the pile in order to replace the rejected articles.
Abstract: A structure for pieces of furniture of variable configuration includes a plurality of different types of assembling elements, which are coupled with one another, in a stable and removable way, to support a desktop at a predetermined distance from the ground. The types of assembling elements include a sleeve, hollow inside and equipped, in its lateral wall, with male quick connection joint means, formed by a pair of pins. Another element is a bar for coupling with a pair of the sleeves, and being equipped, at both extremities, with female quick connectors, which include a pair of blocks featuring a longitudinal hole, which receives the pins, and a through hole containing a dowel for locking the pins. The desktop is supported by desktop bearing brackets. Moreover, legs are fastened to the sleeves to support the bar and the sleeves at a predetermined distance from the ground.
Abstract: A conveying device for machines for packaging rolled articles includes a series of carriages, fastened, regularly spaced apart, to conveying means moved stepwise along an endless path. Each pair of adjacent carriages define holding seats for respective groups of articles to be packaged in a single pack with a sheet of a wrapping material. The carriages include a plurality of pushing prongs which extend, perpendicular to the conveying means, from slide means slidingly mounted on gliding means fastened to the conveying means crosswise to a forward movement direction of conveying means. The conveying device include also means for adjusting the position of the pushing prongs on the carriages, aimed at operating the slide means to move in a selected position along the gliding means.
Abstract: A distributor unit (D) includes a stepwise moving conveying line (L) for conveying containers (C) through one filling unit (G), where the containers (C) are filled with a predetermined filling liquid or powder substance. In a weighing station (15,16), associated to the conveying line (L), two weighing groups (11,12) are situated on opposite sides of the conveying line (L) and have one weighing area (14a,14b) for weighing a container (C). One transfer group (30) is associated to the weighing station (15,16) and moves crosswise to the conveying line (L). The transfer group (30) transfers containers (Ci) to be weighed from the conveying line (L) to the weighing area (14b) of one of the weighing groups (12), and transfers at the same time an already weighed containers (C*i−1) from the area (14a) of the other weighing group (11) to the conveying line (L).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition and use of polymeric urethane ester quats as an active ingredient for skin and hair contacting personal care compositions and products related thereto. These compositions are generally produced by the reaction of a trialkanolamine with a hydroxy fatty acid to produce a trialkanolamine fatty acid ester, which is then polymerized with a diisocyanate and in preferred embodiments, further reacted with a quaternizing agent, to produce preferred quaternized compositions according to the present invention.
Abstract: In a machine for packaging stacks of multiply articles of paper into wrapping sheets, a first line conveys stacks of multiply articles of paper to a a wrapping station while a second feeds wrapping sheets to the wrapping station. Each sheet is kept vertically in a waiting position in the wrapping station until one stack is moved towards the sheet, so that the sheet gradually folds around the stack with overlapping parallel edges to be heat-welded. In the said second line there are first endless belts and second endless belts for a wrapping sheet received from conveying means situated upstream. Abstract: A constructive arrangement applied to an integrated thermostatic valve attached to its own housing has a hollow tubular-shaped body (1) projecting from a flange (2) with holes (3) for fixing screws, and a central opening (4) that determines the chamber mouth molded to the cavity of the body. There are two opposing lengthwise projections (6), which have a groove (7) near the chamber mouth, and another groove (8) near the mouth of the body (1), with the ends of a curved plate (9) fitted into the grooves (8). In the grooves (7) are fitted the ends of another plate (11). A sheet metal disk (12) is inserted into the internal rim of the mouth (4) of the chamber (5), having fixed to the end of the thermostatic valve, a washer (14) for supporting the disk (15) that has a hole where the terminal of the aforementioned thermostatic valve is housed and moves.
Abstract: According to a method for transferring blister packs to a feeding line of a packaging machine, a series of blister packs arranged in a line at a cutting station is picked-up and arranged in alignment with receiving and moving means, adjacent to the cutting station. The series of blister packs is released simultaneously, so that a first blister pack, situated in a foremost position falls onto the receiving and moving mechanism and the further blister packs of the series of blister packs fall onto support elements, carried by a selective releasing member and disposed above the receiving and moving mechanism. The support elements are operated selectively, so as to release, one by one and in succession, the further blister packs aligned and regularly spaced apart, onto the receiving and moving mechanism.

Abstract: A device for transferring blister packs to the feeding line of a packaging machine includes a pick-up member capable of picking-up a series of blister packs disposed in reciprocal alignment at the blister packs cutting station and releasing this series of blister packs in alignment with a conveyor situated adjacent to the cutting station. A blister packs selective releasing device is situated above the conveyor and is equipped with support elements for receiving in support the blister packs picked-up by the pick-up member and operated selectively to release the blister packs, disposed in reciprocal alignment and orderly spaced apart, onto the conveyor. A stepwise rotating carrousel is situated at the outlet of said conveyor and is equipped with gripping members capable of picking-up the blister packs from the conveyor and transferring the blister packs, one by one, to a feeding line arranged perpendicular with respect to the conveyor.
Abstract: A compact non-contact electrical switch for use in an electrical box mounted on a wall has a capacitance sensor for detecting a presence of a hand placed adjacent to the switch and for generating a first data bit, and a CPU for receiving the data bit and for calculating a power output in response to the first data bit The CPU generates a control signal for controlling a triac or relay and thus the power supplied to an electrical circuit passing through the box, for on/off and optionally dimmer control responsive to the proximity of the hand.
