Abstract: A water heater power control device is provided, wherein the control device includes a device outlet adapted to receive an electric plug of a water heater and a timer in communication with the device outlet. The control device may further comprise an electric plug adapted to plug into a wall outlet and provide power to the device outlet and the timer. In particular aspects of the present invention, the device outlet is changeable between an on state and an off state in response to commands from the timer.
Abstract: A motor driven agitator comprises a frame and a plurality of shafts rotatably coupled within the frame. The plurality of shafts are operationally coupled to the motor. The axes of the plurality of shafts are substantially parallel when coupled within the frame. The agitator further comprises a plurality of scalping agitators coupled to each shaft of the plurality of shafts. The agitator may further comprise a plurality of screening spaces each having a predetermined spacing. Material placed on a top side of the agitator is agitated by the plurality of scalping agitators while the plurality of shafts rotate, screening small material through the plurality of screening spaces while maintaining the larger material on the top side of the agitator. The agitator may be removably coupled to a mechanical bucket.
Abstract: There is a dish coding system configured to discreetly represent serving portions on a dish. The dish coding system includes a dish, configured to support food thereon; and a plurality of decorative indicia visibly disposed across a top portion of the dish. The plurality of decorative indicia does not include any overt indication of a relationship between a decorative indicia characteristic and intended portions to be disposed thereon. The plurality of decorative indicia includes an indicator disposed on the top surface of the dish, configured to differentiate food serving portions. The dish coding system also includes an index associated with the dish and including an overt indication of a relationship between decorative indicia characteristics and intended portions to be disposed thereon. The index is visibly displayed on a bottom surface of the dish. The dish may be selected from the group consisting of; plates, bowls, glasses, cookware, pots, pans, cups, and dishes.
Abstract: A coaxial cable connector includes an outer body having a first end and an opposing second end, an inner body having a first inner end and a second inner end, and a post interconnected with the inner body. A fastener portion is at the first end of the outer body. A compression sleeve is disposed to fit on the second inner end. The post, the inner body, and the compression sleeve are movable with respect to the outer body between a first position in which the connector is not mounted to an equipment port and a second position when the connector is mounted to the equipment port. When the fastener portion is mounted to the equipment port, an indicator portion on the compression sleeve is made visible to a user.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a pull-down fastening device for objects having bores, with a fastening unit which includes a fastening element. A pull-down fastening device is disclosed, with which the various fastening processes can, when necessary, be performed. For this purpose, the pull-down fastening device features a modular interchangeable fastening insert which insert includes a fastening element. Such pull-down fastening devices engage into bores of, for example, pallets or workpieces to be processed, for the purpose of interior fastening.
Abstract: The invention is an apparatus and method for filtering a volume of gas. In one embodiment, the invention is a filtering apparatus having a hollow vessel with inlets and outlets, channels in communication with the inlets and outlets, a form of filter media, and an uninterruptible flow controlling device for regulating the circulation of gas within the apparatus. In another embodiment, the invention is a method incorporating an uninterruptible filtering apparatus to remove evaporated liquid from a volume of gas by passing the gas over a filter media contained within a hollow vessel.
Abstract: The present invention provides a pressure-compensation drip tape, which is used in drip irrigation to continuously and evenly supply a small amount of water to plants. The drip tape of the present invention includes an outer shell 10, and overlapping sheets 21, 23 and 25, which are expandable depending on an increase of water pressure. Furthermore, the drip tape has a main passage 11, which is defined by the outer shell and the innermost overlapping sheet, such that most water supplied from a water source flows through the main passage, pressure-reducing passages 31 and 33, which are defined between the overlapping sheets, and discharge holes 21H, 23H and 25H, which are formed in the border between the main passage and one of the pressure-reducing passages and the border between the pressure-reducing passages, such that the water sequentially flows via the main passage and the pressure-reducing passages and drips outside the drip tape.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device, system, and method for optimizing and altering electromagnetic frequency using Doppler shifts of electromagnetic radiation, and, in particular, optimizing frequency for application to photovoltaic devices and the like. The device comprises a crystal positioned in a channel undergoing a vibration, wherein an interaction between an incoming electromagnetic radiation and the vibration of the crystal optimizes a frequency of electromagnetic radiation.
Abstract: A bi-directional electromechanical valve comprising a cylindrical upper cover, two semi-cylindrical permanent magnets, two semi-cylindrical cases, a reverse U-shaped coil set, a cylindrical armature, a valve stem, a first spring and a second spring. The electromechanical valve can be opened and closed bi-directionally in a quick and powerful manner. With an integrated round-shaped design, the electromechanical valve not only reduces the dimensions, but also equalizes the valve wear caused by rotating valve during engine operations. The specially designed cylindrical armature and its button-shaped bottom provide a stronger magnetic holding force to improve the strokes of the armature. The design of a single coil set and permanent magnets reduces the coil volume and the driving power effectively. The armature will stop at a fail-to-safe position at a power failure to provide a better driving way for an engine intake/exhaust valve.
