Abstract: A durable holder assembly having improved mechanical and aesthetic qualities to hold heavy objects. The support portion for the assembly is formed via injection molding. The support portion contains on one side a structure for securing the hook to a surface such as a magnet, an adhesive, a suction cup, Velcro or a mechanical device such as an over-the-door bracket. The structure that secures the holder assembly to a surface is integrally formed with the support portion therein. A holding member, such as a hook, is also integrally formed with the support portion and extends downwardly from the support portion for supporting objects.
Abstract: A thruster (2) arranged in the longitudinal direction of the ski has a section which is fixed to the ski and an area (3) which is located at a distance from said thruster and which can be moved in a longitudinal direction of said ski and which is coupled to an abutment, which is also fixed to the ski by means of a hydraulic damper (10) via a hydraulic suspension (10). In order to enlarge the lifts of the damper (10), a multiplication gear is located between the damper (10) and the movable area (3), more particularly in the form of a lever gear (6).
Abstract: A high torque wrenching system having a wrench with asymmetrical torque transmission capability. The wrench includes a plurality of protuberances and a plurality of recesses around a central axis. The fastener also includes a plurality of protuberances and recesses around the central axis for mating with the wrench. The protuberances and recesses form a saw tooth shape. Each tooth or protuberance is formed by a first wrenching surface for loosening the fastener and a second wrenching surface for tightening the fastener. The wrenching surface carrying the loosening load is at a much smaller angle with respect to a radial vector extending from the wrench's central axis than the wrenching surface carrying the tightening load. The result is that the loosening torque vector will have a much greater moment arm.
Abstract: Frost resistant, aqueous cooling/heating fluid containing alkali salts of acetic acid and/or formic acid and which as a corrosion inhibitor contains a mixture of a C5-C16 monocarboxylic acid or alkali-, ammonium- or amino-salts of said acid, a C5-C16 dicarboxylic acid or alkali-, ammonium- or amino-salts of said acid, and also a triazole.
Abstract: It comprises a plurality of carrying units mounted on a turntable, with each of the carrying units securing a wheel rim or the like to be polished, and a plurality of polishing units, each one of which includes a polishing element that carries out a polishing operation on the wheel rim, in such a way that for each position of the turntable each one of the carrying units is situated facing a polishing unit. It is characterized in that the central shaft of each carrying unit is inclined with respect to the horizontal by a predetermined angle. It permits to polish a wheel rim or the like completely, and it is not necessary to polish manually the parts of the wheel rim which it is more difficult to reach.

Abstract: A method for the solubilization and recovery of plasmodial parasite protective antigenic factors from associated starting plasmodial parasite material, comprising forming an aqueous suspension of the starting parasite material and associated insoluble protective antigenic factors, adding a detergent to disperse the insoluble antigenic factors, and recovering the solubilized plasmodial parasite protective antigenic factors. A immunorganic composition made by the inventive method is also disclosed.
Abstract: A puzzle device includes a plurality of separate blocks that are assembled together as a unit which can be manipulated between different configurations. At least one magnet is arranged along an edge of at least certain of the blocks to attract the edge of another block in juxtaposition with it. The two juxtaposed blocks are able to be manipulated to rotate about an axis formed along the two juxtaposed edges, a stronger attractive force being exerted at the axis between the two juxtaposed blocks, and a weaker attractive force is exerted along the juxtaposed edges parallel to but remote from the axis. This enables faces of the blocks in contact to be split apart and rotated about the axis until another pair of faces come into contact, such that, in this new position, a stronger attractive force is again exerted at the axis and a weaker attractive force is again exerted remote from the axis, the stronger attractive forces holding the separate blocks together as a unit in all the configurations of the unit.
Abstract: In a process for the production of polysiloxane pressure-sensitive adhesive layers with reduced cold flow by means of coating and drying a one-component polysiloxane pressure-sensitive adhesive solution onto a suitable flat-shaped carrier, a complex of a metal ion of the group consisting of calcium, magnesium, zinc, aluminum, titanium, zirconium or hafnium with a low-molecular organic complex former is added to the organic adhesive solution to be coated, whereby the metal ion is only released from the bond to the complex former under the conditions of heating and/or drying of the adhesive solution.
Abstract: A concentration detection method and a concentration detection apparatus, and an agent diluting preparation apparatus capable of accurately estimating the concentration of a solution without the need of strict temperature control, and of estimating the concentration of the solution in real time, and further of cost reduction of diluting and preparing an agent and of simplification of diluting and preparing work are provided herein.
