Abstract: An LED apparatus with temperature self-regulating, over-temperature protection, and over-current protection function comprises an LED chip, a heat dissipation plate, a heat conductive layer and a temperature control device. The heat dissipation and the heat conductive layer disposed thereon carry the LED chip and dissipate the heat generated from the LED chip that is connected to an electric power source for luminance. The temperature control device exhibiting PTC behavior is electrically connected between the LED chip and the electric power source in series, and the distance between the LED chip and the temperature control device is less than 3 cm. The heat conductive layer can consist of polymeric dielectric material and has a heat conduction coefficient larger than 1.0 W/mK at 25° C.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for the online determination of a bulge/upset dimension xST and rivet head end position K of a rivet 3 with a length L in a punch rivet process with the help of a moveable punch 10 and a rigid die 20. The path covered by the punch 10 and the force applied by it are determined and evaluated online during the joining process. The quality characteristics of the joint connection are determined with the help of defined threshold values or a graphical evaluation of force/path data of the joining process.
Abstract: A fluid isolation valve having a valve body with a first fluid flow port, a second fluid flow port and a fluid drain port with a valve in the fluid drain port. The valve body also defines a fluid flow channel, a drain flow channel and a valve portion, wherein the valve portion is disposed in the valve body to be communicated with the first fluid flow port, the second fluid flow port and the fluid drain port. A flow diversion device is also provided and is disposed within the valve portion. The flow diversion device is configurable between a first configuration and a second configuration, such that when the flow diversion device is in the first configuration the first fluid flow port is communicated with the second fluid flow port. Consequently, when the flow diversion device is in the second configuration the first fluid flow port is communicated with the fluid drain port. The fluid flow can be decrease or stop by use of the valve within the fluid drain port.
Abstract: A method of remote displaying and processing based on Server/Client architecture adopts a technical scheme of specific inter-frame increment compression and data comparison compression of the adjacent area-bits of the inner-frame within the side of Server, thus removing the intricate computation mode in the traditional inter-frame compression scheme, and reducing the resource usage of a computer; the side of the client adopts an increment refreshing mode to display an image, only refreshes the changed part, if the part was changed, then the part was refreshed; so that the refreshing speed of the remote desktop is improved highly, while the system resource usage of the computer is reduced highly.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a motor- or generator-related arrangement or structure (20) with two parts (5, 15) rotatably disposed in relation to one another, where a first part (5), serving as rotor unit, is rotatably disposed about a shaft (7) in a first selected direction of rotation, and a second part (15), serving as stator unit, is rotatably disposed about said shaft (7) in a second selected direction of rotation counter directed to said first selected direction of rotation. Means (2, 3, 4, 14 and 13) are arranged for transforming the speed of the first direction of rotation to the second direction of rotation. Said means includes a first gear rim or ring (14), associated with the stator unit (15), at least two gear rotary wheels (4, 4?), coordinated with a housing (1, 11), and a second gear rim or ring (3) associated with the rotor (5).
Abstract: A reversible ratchet device is provided as a low-torque application wrench in the form of an elongated body carrying a ratchet mechanism thereon, the ratchet mechanism being operable under low-torque conditions such as are present with initial driving or final loosening of a workpiece. The device includes the ratchet mechanism carried directly on the body, both being co-axially rotatable with each other and with the workpiece.

Abstract: A pulling tool having a support member, a first surface and a second surface. The first surface including a slot positioned thereon and the second surface include a recess in communication with the slot. A ledge is formed where the recess and the slot intersect. At least one rod is disposed in the slot and recess and includes a portion engageable with the ledge.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for cutting off a thick-walled pipe 3, wherein the pipe to be cut comprises an inner circumference closer to the longitudinal axis of the pipe and an outer circumference further from the longitudinal axis of the pipe. The method comprises bringing the cut-off point of the pipe to the cut-off point of a sawing unit, locking the pipe in its place by means of a fastener, sawing the pipe at the cut-off point by moving a saw 2 of the sawing unit towards the center of the pipe 3, the sawing unit comprising at least two saws.
Abstract: The invention relates to a power storage system intended to transmit power to and from a driving system of a vehicle. A power storage having a stator provided with two windings and at least one rotor provided with a magnetic-flux generating device is comprised. The rotor is connected to a flywheel intended for storage of energy. The two windings of the stator are arranged for high and low voltage, respectively. The power storage is arranged to transmit power to and from the electric apparatus as well as store energy transmitted from the electric apparatus in the flywheel.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for implementing pathogen reduction within a poultry processing or food processing plant that uses water that has been treated with chloramines at an advantageous dosage before being introduced to the production process at processing steps. The water treated with chloramines may be from a fresh water source or reclaimed water from the processing plant. The reintroduction of the treated reclaimed water advantageously causes a dramatic reduction in the levels of microorganisms associated with poultry processing, while substantially conserving water use.

Abstract: An apparatus and method affords, to authorized persons, access to one or more lockable areas of one or more gaming machines. Each area includes a door or switch and an associated electrically operable lock mechanism which controls access to the area. Each machine has a local processor communicating with a central host computer and with lock processors for each of its lockable areas. Personnel identification and access authorization data is stored at the host computer. Data may also be stored on personal data cards, respectively assigned to individual persons. A person seeking access inputs identification data at the machine, and the host computer responds with signals to unlock lock mechanisms for areas which the identified person is authorized to access. Each machine monitors the states of all of its locks and doors. A manual override key, disabled when power is on, operates the lock mechanisms when power is off.

Abstract: In one form, tester for an electrical system, such as for a vehicle, develops repetitively applied, short duration, control current pulses for reducing load current pulses through the electrical system. An operator connects a pair of input contacts across a fuse holder. A circuit between the input contacts is closed momentarily and repetitively to produce repetitive current pulses from the electricity source through the system. A perceptible alert is produced when the magnitude of the current pulse exceeds that of a prescribed reference current value. In another form, a tester for an electrical system is designed to plug into the fuse terminals in a fuse box. The tester can include a plurality of interchangeable circuit breaker modules to allow the tester to be used on circuits having differing current ratings.
