Abstract: A joint press including a yoke including a first end and a second end. A first adapter attachment member is positioned on the first end. A second adapter attachment member is positioned on the second end. The first adapter attachment member and the second adapter attachment member have the same profile, thereby allowing the same adapter to be removably connected to either the first end or the second end.

Abstract: A brake system for a vehicle having a plurality of wheels and a frame comprising a mechanically actuated braking assembly operably coupled with at least one of the wheels and being operable between braking and non-braking conditions, a handle coupled to the braking assembly and being mounted to the frame for pivotal movement about a substantially horizontal axis between first and second positions in each of which the braking assembly is in the braking condition, and an actuating mechanism responsive to movement of the handle from either of the first and second positions for actuating the braking assembly into the non-braking condition.
Abstract: A method of detecting fraudulent Internet traffic sent from a first web site to a second web site including providing a first web site database having a list of first web sites likely to send bad traffic, providing a link to the second web site on the first web site, after an Internet user having a web browser clicks on the link, transferring the Internet user to an intermediate web site that gathers information from the Internet user web browser; and determining if a validation request is required.
Abstract: A medical device such as a female luer lock connector has an interior for containment of fluids. An access site on the medical device has an opening into the access site interior, which opening defines an annular, outer end surface surrounding the opening. An elastomeric wall is sealingly bonded to the annular, outer end surface at an inner face of the elastomeric wall. Typically, the elastomeric wall has a radially outwardly facing peripheral surface which is essentially spaced from the access site. Also, portions of the elastomeric wall, if desired, can project laterally outwardly beyond the annular, outer end surface, to frictionally engage a second medical device that is attached to the access site.
Abstract: An electronic torque-angle instrument including a generally tubular body having a gripping section and a pivoting head for engaging a workpiece, such as a nut or bolt, and a housing associated with the body and containing electronics, including a microprocessor, which permit individual or simultaneous measurement of torque and angle applied to the workpiece. The microprocessor includes stored programs which interpret a signal from an input, such as a gyroscopic sensor, and sends the interpreted signal to an output means. The signal is finally displayed as an accurate torque measure and/or angle measure from the output means.

Abstract: The present invention is related to compositions containing chitosan conjugated CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and a chitosan conjugated Vitamin A or a ?-cyclodextrin conjugated vitamin A. The invention also concerns the preparation of the compositions. The compositions according to the invention can be used as topical and cosmetic compositions as well as pharmaceutical compositions for treatment of atopical dermatitis, psoriasis eczema as well as eczema of different origins and solar dermatitis.
Abstract: A latching overlay for a tool storage unit drawer includes a drawer pull with a substantially horizontal flange portion perpendicular to a front face of the drawer and extending across at least a portion of the drawer width. In a preferred embodiment, the latching overlay includes a trim channel having a first surface for engaging a top face of the horizontal flange portion of the drawer pull, a second surface for engaging a bottom face of the horizontal flange portion of the drawer pull, and a release connected between the first surface and the second surface such that the trim channel is capable of pivoting about the horizontal flange portion. At least one drawer latch hook connected to the trim channel is provided, wherein the drawer latch hook engages and disengages from a latching component of the tool storage unit in response to the pivoting movement of the trim channel.

Abstract: A kitchen utensil for removing a hard center from a food item, such as a seed or a pit from a cherry or olive, has a shield for controlling a splatter of juice or other debris that may result from the removal of the hard center. The shield is removably securable with the utensil so that cleaning is simplified and so that the kitchen utensil can be stored in a compact arrangement. The shield secures on a first portion of the utensil in an operational configuration, and is received on a different portion of the utensil in a storage configuration. The utensil may include a locking mechanism to hold the utensil in a closed position so that the storage configuration is further compact.

Abstract: An apparatus for determining a best number, representing a maximum or minimum of a set of numbers, includes a first comparator 3 having a latency of at least one clock cycle to compare a current number with a current best score and to output a corresponding first comparator signal 7 and at least a second comparator 13 having a latency of at least one clock cycle to compare the current number with any other input number compared with a current best number while the current number was being processed through the apparatus and to output at least a corresponding second comparator signal 18. A combinatorial logic block 15 receives the comparator signals and outputs a corresponding signal 20 dependent thereon and on a flag signal 21 received from flagging means arranged to flag whether the current best number was updated for one or more preceding input numbers while the current number was being processed.
