Abstract: The object of the present invention is a shelter structure, in particular for electrical equipment, totally modular, simple and inexpensive to make, and extremely quick to assemble, also on the place of use. Such structure comprises angular connecting joints (11), horizontal bars (13) and vertical uprights (14) that connect to said joints, and a series of panels (16, 17) of suitable materials suitable for forming the walls, the roof and the floor of the structure.
Abstract: A process for treating and disposing a liquid waste, which is solidified prior to disposal, includes steps of adding to said liquid waste a dry treatment product generally comprising approximately 25% to 75% bentonite clay and respectively 75% to 25% of a liquid-sorbing polymer, subjecting the liquid waste to a single pass high shear mix so as to incorporate the treatment product into the liquid waste with increased dispersion and reduced agglomeration, subjecting the treated liquid waste to a retention time suitable for solidification, and disposing of the solidified liquid waste. The liquid waste preferably is recirculated prior to addition of dry treatment product so as to permit a calibration of the characteristics of the liquid waste, and subsequent determination of the correct rate of dry treatment addition.
Abstract: A laboratory test tube is formed between male and female mold elements by injection of molten plastic material. The female element has a bottom element formed by first and second alternating complementarily shaped wedges. At least the second wedges are able to move under the pressure of the molten plastic from a rest position to an operative position in order to form slits which allow air, but not molten plastic, to exit from the mold.
Abstract: The invention relates to compositions in the form of microemulsion preconcentrates that contain (a) a mixture that consists of a medium-chain triglyceride and an omega-9 fatty acid and/or an omega-6 fatty acid; and (b) a surface-active component that contains a polyoxethylene tenside. When contacted with water or with an aqueous medium these microemulsion preconcentrates form microemulsions. The microemulsions of the O/W type have an average particle size below 150 nm, preferably below 100 nm. The inventive microemulsion preconcentrates and microemulsions are suitable for use as vehicles for substances, namely active agents, that are hardly soluble in water, but soluble in components (a) and/or (b). In the aqueous phase, said microemulsions may contain water-soluble substances.

Abstract: A disc brake caliper comprising a suspension side portion, facing an associable suspension to support said caliper, a wheel side portion facing a wheel being rotatably integrally associable to a brake disc, said wheel side and suspension side portion comprising cylinders suitable to house pistons facing pads for breaking the brake disc, and being connected by at least one connecting bridge extending astride the brake disc. The caliper comprises at least one casing being associable to a side surface of said caliper opposite a housing recess of the brake disc, such as to define a duct extending between said suspension side and wheel side portion to convey a cooling air steam, near thrust portion of the pads being affected by the relative pistons.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a prefabricated panel and panel building system for use in construction of houses. The prefabricated building panel has a foam body with one or more apertures in which to position one or more studs or noggins, one or more channels in the upper and lower end walls to locate about top and bottom track members respectively, and side end walls that are shaped to join to adjacent panels. The panel is located and attached to the track members to cover the track members and the one or more studs or noggins members are positioned and substantially enclosed in the one or more apertures to provide a structurally integral panel for a building structure.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for aligning at least two flexographic printing plates on at least one printing cylinder, which provides acquiring an image of a part of a first plate, memorising the acquired image, framing a part of a second plate, at the same time displaying the memorised image and the image relating to the part of the second framed plate in real time; and aligning the image framed in real time with the memorised image.
Abstract: A plan sifter for sifting or sieving, flour-like or granular products, includes at least one compartment. Each sifting compartment has a dedicated drive, so that the base surface available can be better utilized, and the sifting capacity can be better adjusted to actual needs.
Abstract: A method for making a composite structure or a portion of a composite structure of a braking band of a brake disc, unusually capable of obtaining a structure with an especially long life, comprising at least the following steps: making a composite ceramic structure, comprising carbon fibre filaments, silicon and silicon carbides, obtaining a body of a braking band comprising at least one braking surface; processing said braking surface removing a surface layer so as to have carbon not bonded with the silicon on surface; removing at least partly the carbon not bonded with silicon from the surface; depositing an anchoring substrate on said braking surface; and depositing a protective coating on said anchoring substrate.

Abstract: A speaker apparatus includes a speaker and a sound box. The sound box is shaped like a wine barrel and includes arced side boards and parallel top and bottom boards coupled to upper and lower ends of the side boards, respectively. The sound box is divided by at least an isolating board into air chambers interconnected with one another via at least an air aperture formed in the isolating board, and at least an air venting hole is formed through at least one of the side boards so as to communicate the air chambers with the outside. The speaker is installed on the top board via an installation hole formed therein. The interconnected air chambers and side boards produce air cushions corresponding to resonant frequency sections of the speaker, thereby enabling the speaker to reproduce original audio sounds without interfering with a successively formed air cushion.
Abstract: A device for shredding poultry carcasses, includes a frame supporting a comminuting unit and a drive unit. The comminuting unit includes a drum mounted on a rotatable shaft, the drum having a generally cylindrical surface and an array of cutting points affixed to the drum, protruding from the surface, and a stationary comb having an array of teeth separated by spaces, and extending close to the drum surface so that the points pass between the teeth as the drum rotates. The drive unit turns the drum to reduce the carcasses to a compostable mass.

Abstract: A brake assembly for use with a wind turbine. The brake assembly comprises a movable wind flap for attachment to a tail assembly of the wind turbine, the wind flap being configured to assume a first closed position during normal operation, and a second open position when incoming winds exceed a predetermined velocity threshold. Provided on the wind flap is a trip rudder assembly for cooperating with incoming wind to urge the wind flap into the open position. A counterbalance assembly is also provided for biasing the wind flap into the closed position. The wind flap in the open position effects a redirection of a portion of the incoming wind, urging the wind turbine to assume an oblique position relative to the incoming wind, effecting a reduction in rotational velocity of the wind turbine.
Abstract: The present invention has as its object an intercepting valve of a fluid comprising an obturator which can be turned clockwise or anti-clockwise. By turning clockwise, the fluid in transit is given a first characterization, while by turning anti-clockwise it is given a second characterization. In addition, the present invention has as its object, a method of fabrication of a valve fitted with obturator as described above.
