Abstract: There are described new active compound combinations of a compound of the formula (I) ##STR1## with known fungicidal active compounds, and their use for the control of phytopathogenic fungi.

Abstract: A polarizing film of improved blocking position based on polyvinyl alcohol which comprises polyacetylene as the light-polarizing substance is obtained if such a film is heated for at least 10 s at a temperature of between 100.degree. C. and 300.degree. C.

Abstract: The application relates to substituted 4-phenyl-6-amino-nicotinic acid derivatives for therapeutic use, to novel active compounds and to their use as cerebrally active agents. The active compounds are prepared by oxidizing appropriately substituted dihydropyridines according to customary methods.

Abstract: A mixture of 2,4-dichloro-5-fluorotoluene and 2,6-dichloro-3-fluorotoluene which cannot be separated in an economically efficient manner and can be reacted individually to give the corresponding benzonitriles is subjected according to the invention to ammoxidation in the form of this mixture and then separated at the stage of the benzonitriles by methods known to the person skilled in the art.

Abstract: A process for the separation of a mixture which contains benzyl chloride, benzyl alcohol, dibenzyl ether and aqueous hydrochloric acid, wherein said mixture is continuously introduced via a side-feed into a distillation column from which aqueous hydrochloric acid and benzyl chloride are continuously taken off as overhead product, benzyl alcohol and dibenzyl ether are continuously taken off as bottom product, thereby the formation of dibenzyl ether is reduced or virtually prevented.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for potting components in an impregnating composition which does not set at room temperature, but which sets at elevated temperatures in a short time. A one-component composition is used. The potting chamber optionally consists of a forechamber, a main chamber and an exit chamber. The potting chamber is followed by a tunnel oven which itself consists of an airlock entry chamber, a main chamber and an airlock exit chamber.

Abstract: A multi-axis mixer/reactor with a large available useful capacity, which is kinematically self-cleaning, comprising at least one housing one, two or more parallel, contrarotating shafts 2, 2', on which intermeshing groups of gear wheels 3, 3' are disposed in an axially spaced-apart manner. The gear wheels 3, 3' are connected to one another by kneading bars 5, 5', while further kneading bars 4, 4' which are connected in each case only to one gear wheel are likewise disposed on the end faces of the gear wheels.

Abstract: According to the invention, a new process for the preparation of fluorine-substituted aminobenzodioxoles and -benzodioxanes of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which n represents an integer 1 or 2, has been found, in which fluorine-substituted nitro-halogeno-benzodioxoles and -benzodioxanes, which are likewise new, are hydrogenated. The novel intermediates are obtained from fluorine-substituted benzodioxoles and benzodioxanes by halogenation and subsequent nitration. The amino compounds are important starting materials for highly active biocides.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for preparing multifilament, wet-spun elastane threads with increased spinning output, which is achieved by largely removing entrained water from the filaments after leaving the spinning bath and then fixing the threads on at least two rollers at a temperature of at least 200.degree. C. for at least 3 seconds.

Abstract: A radio telephone system is disclosed to satisfy in the short term basic telecommunication needs of areas which are insufficiently or not yet covered. The system has a number of duplex radio channels (transmission channels) substantially smaller than the number of radio telephone subscribers. These transmission channels are connected to the ports of a telecommunications exchange system which is part of the stationary radio station and which ensures both incoming and outgoing traffic with the public telecommunications network and internal exchanges within the system. Signalling, exchange, management, servicing, and special functions of radio operation between the stationary radio station and the subscriber connection device are ensured by a radio switching device which uses one, or if required, several transmission channels used as organization channels and not connected to the ports of the telecommunications exchange system.
