  • Patent number: 7137409
Abstract: A multilayered pressure vessel (10) fabricated from at least one single ply sheet of flexible material (100) having an approximate longitudinal midline which divides the material into an inner portion (130) having an inner surface, an outer surface, an edge, a seam allowance, and a width, and an outer portion having an inner surface, an outer surface, an edge, a seam allowance, and a width. The width of the outer portion (120) is greater than the width of the inner portion (140). A primary seam (250) binds the outer portion and the inner portion to the material sheet at the midline proximate the outer portion edge and inner portion edge. The sheet (100) is wrapped into a continuous substantially 720 degree wrap to form a generally cylindrical vessel body having possible multiple fluid passageways, at the election of the user. The primary seam (250) is concealed.

  • Patent number: 7125082
Abstract: A multipurpose loading and unloading apparatus for installation on a pickup truck bed or the floor of a vehicle cargo area. The inventive apparatus includes a load-bearing member, such as a cargo box, having at least a slide board panel with an upper load-bearing side and a lower roller-engaging side. A roller mount is disposed under the slide board panel and includes, at a minimum, opposing and parallel guide rails. A roller assembly is interposed between the slide board panel and the roller mount, and it is tethered to the roller platform at a pivot point forward from the center of gravity of the load-bearing member. As the load-bearing member is moved rearwardly, it reaches a point at which it is tilted naturally when unloaded, and with little effort when loaded.

  • Patent number: 7124954
Abstract: An apparatus for displaying procedural information cards in the workplace includes a central shaft having a ring portion at each end adapted to capture cards having slots. The central shaft may be releasably captured in a channel of a universal mount or a swing arm portion. Removal of the shaft portion from the channel permits the shaft to be split open, thereby opening the rings. Alternatively, the shaft portion may be used alone (without a mount or swing arm) to hold a quantity of cards. The swing arm may be hinged upon a base portion and attached to the peripheral surface surrounding a computer video monitor. When affixed to a monitor, the semicircular rings facilitate easy installation and flipping of instructional cards.

  • Patent number: 7122815
Abstract: An emitting source capable of radiating substantial energy in the near infrared spectrum and suitable for use in non-dispersive infrared gas analyzers or other devices is described. Operation can be steady state (DC) or pulsed at high frequency with excellent modulation characteristics. The device consists of a tungsten filament mounted across the pins of a small transistor outline header and centered at the focal point of a parabolic or other shaped reflector. The header assembly is enclosed by a resistance-welded cap and window assembly having a specially sealed sapphire or other suitable IR transmissive window. Fundamental to the operation of the inventive IR emitter is the incorporation of a getter within the header package configured to prevent oxidation degradation of the tungsten filament. An inert gas backfill limits filament evaporation and further extends apparatus lifetime.

  • Patent number: 7120403
Abstract: The invention is a circuit and method for providing an auto-off capability for a wireless transmitter, of a type having an audio plug which mates with the output jack of an audio source. The portable transmitter modulates audio signals from the audio source onto a carrier and transmits them to a receiver. The auto-off capability is provided to prolong battery life and degradation of the transmitter circuit and comprises pinching off a FET when the circuit is in an “off” state. This occurs when a pre-determined threshold in a capacitor is reached by not discharging that capacitor. The capacitor is discharged by dropping an input to a comparator below a pre-determined threshold limit when presented with an audio peak and wherein the drop in value causes the comparator output to discharge the capacitor and causing the FET to supply power to the regulator.

  • Patent number: 7114986
Abstract: An electrical connector adapted for use in terminating the individual solid and/or stranded wires of a NEMA cable includes a locking connector body having a plurality of nested cam levers, each of which selectively rotates to engage a spring clamp to releasably capture a conductor within the connector body, and without the need of inserting a tool into the device.
