Abstract: A method for dissolving a measured quantity of a solute in a solvent. First, a tracer is combined with a solute in known proportions to form a mixture. The tracer is capable of increasing the turbidity of a solvent in proportion to the concentration of the solute dissolved in the solvent. Then, a container is provided for receiving the mixture and the solvent. Next, the solvent and the mixture are introduced into the container. Finally, the solvent is stirred until its turbidity reaches a predetermined level.
Abstract: A bow blind including a mounting bracket for attachment to a compound bow. The mounting bracket includes a pair of forwardly extending and downturned hooks. Radiating upwardly and outwardly from the mounting bracket is a first pair of support arms. A camouflaged panel is secured to the mounting bracket and, in turn, to bow by the first support arms and hooks.
Abstract: A firearm bolt locking mechanism includes a locking pin in the bolt carrier of a firearm like an AK-47 assault rifle or variant thereof. The locking pin is normally urged from the bolt carrier by a compressed spring. The mechanism also includes a pivot arm mounted on the receiver cover of the firearm. The pivot arm has a spring-biased finger that normally fills a hole in the receiver cover. The mechanism further includes a magazine that stops the bolt of the firearm when the last cartridge from the magazine is fired and permits the spring to drive the locking pin into the hole. After replacing the empty magazine with a full one, the pivot arm is pressed to replace the locking pin in the hole with the finger and to release the bolt carrier to chamber a cartridge.
Abstract: A gauge for use by woodworkers in setting the height of a router bit to make lock miter joints with a router table. The gauge includes a base for upright positioning upon a router table. The base has a bottom plate and a top plate connected by a crosspiece. A gauging arm is pivotally connected to the crosspiece at a pivot point and having a front portion extending forwardly from the pivot point and a rear portion extending rearwardly from the pivot point. A gauging finger extends laterally from the front portion of the gauging arm. A setscrew extends upwardly from the rear portion of the gauging arm to a location below the top plate.
Abstract: A basket assembly for a three-wheel pushcart having a leg brace includes a clamp for attachment to the brace. The clamp has a block with a notch for receiving the top of the brace. The block has bore extending from its top to its bottom and opening into the notch and another bore extending from one side of the block to the other. A clamping plate, for engagement with the bottom of the brace, is secured to the block by a first threaded fastener passing through the bore. A basket is releasably attached to a supporting bracket attached to the clamp and has an openwork box adapted for support by forwardly facing hooks at the bottom of a lower segment of laterally spaced members of the supporting bracket. A second threaded fastener extends through each apertured flange and the other bore to attach the bracket to the clamp.
Abstract: A butchering tool including a handle and a bar extending from the handle. A claw is affixed to the bar remote from the handle. The claw includes a primary hook curving downwardly and rearwardly toward the bottom of the handle and a notch in the top thereof. The claw also includes a secondary hook that curves upwardly and rearwardly toward the top of the handle and that partially closes the notch.

Abstract: A router guide including a base member configured for attachment to a workbench in two different orientations. A clamping member is secured to the base member by threaded fasteners at each of its opposite ends so as to form a slot of variable height between the clamping member and the base member. In use, boards are positioned in the slot and held there by tightening threaded fasteners while a router bit is run along the free edge of the boards to make cuts. The router bit is steadied during cutting operations by pressing the associated router against a guide surface provided in either the clamping member or a guide plate attached to the base member remote from the clamping member.
Abstract: A toilet mounting assembly including a pedestal for fastening to a floor and a toilet snap-fit to the pedestal. The pedestal includes a plate for positioning upon a floor and having an opening in its center. An upstanding lip is affixed to the front of the plate. The lip is formed from a resilient material and has a notch in its front. An upstanding lug is affixed to the rear of the plate and has an indention in its rear. The toilet, however, includes a base for positioning upon the plate and a fluid outlet for positioning within the opening in the plate. A protrusion extends from the front of the base into the notch in the lip after the protrusion temporarily deforms the lip to gain access to the notch. A projection extends from the rear of the base into indention in the lug.
Abstract: A releasable tubing connector including a male part that can be selectively fastened to a female part. The male and female parts are provided with internal valve assemblies that cooperate with one another to permit fluid to flow through the tubing connector. When the male and female parts are fastened together, fluid can flow through the releasable tubing connector. On the other hand, when the male and female parts are unfastened, fluid can flow through neither.
