  • Patent number: 7090905
Abstract: Flat or semi-flat element (1) including a partly or completely circumambient frame (2), which element (1) is manufactured through molding of a polymeric material. The element (1) includes a carrying structure, constituted by the frame (2), and an intermediate wall section (3). The wall section (3) is connected to the frame (2) via a resilient section (4), the resilient section (4) being a part of the wall section (3). The differences in the temperature related shrinkage between the frame (2) and the wall section (3) is absorbed by the resilient section (4), whereby warping of the element (1) is avoided.

  • Patent number: 7075378
Abstract: A high spectral purity microwave oscillator is provided. The Oscillator uses an air-dielectric cavity and employs the known carrier-suppression technique. In one embodiment, the oscillator employs a high-Q cavity to self-sustain an oscillating signal formed by feeding back into its input a power-amplified output signal of the cavity in which residual phase noise in the amplifier stages is suppressed. A bandpass filter selects the cavity mode. FIG. 1 illustrates this embodiment. Another embodiment suppresses the noise of a voltage-controlled oscillator whose frequency and power-amplified output interrogates the cavity mode. FIG. 2 illustrates this embodiment.

  • Patent number: 7065931
Abstract: A thin decorative thermosetting laminate of postforming quality is glued to a longitudinal carrier to form a floor strip. The laminate has a thermosetting resin as well as hard particles impregnated therein to increase the abrasion resistance of the laminate. The carrier generally has a cross section of a dilatation, transition or a finishing profile, depending on the intended use of the floor strip. The floor strip has a tab portion on a surface that engages a channel on a floor tile or a reducer. The tab portion locks the floor strip into place and prevents movement of the floor tile or the reducer with respect to the floor strip.

  • Patent number: 7060158
Abstract: A process for the manufacture of a decorative boards, which boards includes a decorative layer, wherein a decor sheet is placed as a surface layer on a base layer and bonded thereto by pressing under elevated temperature and pressure. The decor sheet is cut to a predetermined format from a web, the cut being arranged on a fixed position related to possible repetition frequency of a decor pattern of the web. The decor sheet is then accurately placed on a base layer with a predetermined format. The decor sheet is spot welded to the base layer. A number of such base layers with attached decor sheets are then, one after the other, fed in between the belts of a continuous laminate press, optionally together with an uppermost wear layer. The base layers, the decor sheets and possibly the optional wear layer is then laminated together under heat and pressure in the laminate press.

  • Patent number: 7047211
Abstract: An inventive procurement system includes a requisition system for special item purchases that are not found when searching a catalog database. Using the requisition system the buyer is provided with the desired item while the information associated with the requisition is selectively added to a rule-based knowledge base as well as to an item database. In a preferred embodiment a common language generator has been used to normalize free form data using pre-determined rules to place the data into a class/attribute/value relationship. By having the item requisition follow the same relationship, the pre-determined rules may be updated and the free-form data associated with the item properly coded for inclusion into an item database.
