Abstract: An adjustable carpenters square is presented, which aids carpenters in marking and measuring work product to be cut or formed. The adjustable square can be set at a variety of angles to enable cut marking. It also possesses an attached measuring tape and a straight edge to combine three useful features in one tool.

Abstract: This invention relates to racks for securely holding a variety of objects. The racks are easily mounted in the horizontal, vertical and/or diagonal positions. Moreover, the racks will rigidly hold objects of varying thickness without complicated adjustments of the contact surface area.

Abstract: An improved induction lighting system is presented where the electronic power supply device powering the induction lamp is insulated and an extensive set of heat sink fins is provided to control the temperature of the power supply. Reduction of power supply device temperature in this manner greatly extends the operational life of these devices. The improved induction lighting system is designed to be retrofitted into existing induction lighting systems, in all indoor and outdoor lighting applications.

Abstract: What is presented is an innovative design of a chemical reactor for catalytic breakdown of halogenated hydrocarbons, the body of which acts as a specialized electromagnet capable of immobilizing and retaining very large quantities of non-magnetized ferro- dia- or para-magnetic material-containing nano, micro-, or milli-particles within it's reactor volume despite high-velocity flow of any liquid through said reactor. This is accomplished without any pre-treatment to the nanoparticles, without the use of adhesive of any sort, electroplating, electrolytic action, nano-structured nanocages, membrane or other impregnation, or any other mechanical or chemical means.

Abstract: An improved exercise machine is revealed, consisting of an air spring added to standard weight training incline benches. The air spring provides positive resistance to the muscles used to push the weight up the incline. The positive resistance to movement supplied by this device has been shown to increase the strength of fast-twitch muscles when exercising.
