Abstract: Systems and methods for determining an impact on spend and/or trend for a prescription drug plan are provided. In response to receiving the request to analyze spend and/or trend, a prescription drug spend and/or trend application may retrieve data related to the prescription drug plan from a database. The analysis of spend and/or trend includes a determination of components of spend and/or trend having a significant impact on spend and/or trend. In one example, the spend and/or trend application may determine whether an option is available to improve at least one of the components having the significant impact on spend and/or trend. If an option is available, the impact (e.g., financial impact, member impact) of the implementation of the option on the prescription drug plan may be modeled by the spend and/or trend application.

Abstract: Assemblies in accordance with the invention can lead to an exceptionally easy to use, safe, and convenient system and method of applying a fixed dosage of chemicals to which a user might wish to avoid contact, such as parasiticides. In the present invention, a fluid, such as a pesticide or parasiticide, glue, solvent, lubricant, medicament and the like is loaded into a fluid reservoir and the reservoir sealed. The reservoir can be attached to a cap-applicator structure which is in an inactive configuration. In the inactive configuration, a piercing tip remains poised over the reservoir in an inactive configuration without forming an opening in the reservoir. The cap-applicator can have a sharp intsernal piercing tip capable of piercing the reservoir when the assembly is converted into an active configuration. This will allow the user to dispense the liquid out of the reservoir through the applicator.

Abstract: Systems and methods for determining options for reducing spend and/or trend for a prescription drug plan are provided. Based on an analysis of spend and/or trend for the prescription drug plan, a prescription drug spend and/or trend application may determine that an option is available to reduce spend and/or trend. For example, an option may be provided that addresses a primary component of spend and/or trend as determined by the spend and trend application. In another example, an option may be provided that addresses a deviation by the prescription drug plan from a selected performance metric. In yet another example, an option may be provided that addresses a status change for a drug in a marketplace. The spend and/or trend application may optionally project an impact of an option on the prescription drug plan (e.g., financial impact, member impact) using a related model.

Abstract: In some embodiments, containers can be, for example, labeled with a uniquely identifiable customer label. The labeled containers can be loaded into a carrier that caries containers. The carrier can be transported to and from various stations by a transport system. The container carrier can travel through, for example, a solid pharmaceutical dispensing system where all or some of the containers in the carrier can be filled with a specific quantity of pharmaceutical product. The carrier can be transported to a capping and branding station where the containers can be capped and branded. The caps can be pre-branded, blank, or a combination of pre-branded and blank. Where at least some of the containers are branded with blank caps, a carrier and/or container can be transported to a branding station that can brand caps with cap labeling information (e.g., logos, graphics, artwork, text, etc.) that can be specific to each cap.

The system includes a lifting mechanism, a plurality of parallel crossmembers fixed within a layer formed by the frame of the platform; and a plurality of carrier pulleys located along outer lateral edges of the frame, the carrier pulleys designed to accommodate a platform-driving cable. The lifting mechanism further includes: a driver; a shaft; first and second drive pulleys situated at the ends of the shaft designed to take at least one platform-driving cable; an attachment to secure at least one cable in the cavity; and means for actuating the drive shaft.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method enabling precise determination of the elevation of a projectile following a ballistic trajectory by use of a conventional Doppler surveillance radar. The method includes calculating first the estimate {circumflex over (?)}? of the value of the radial component ?? of the acceleration of the projectile from the quantities {dot over (d)} and {umlaut over (d)}, respectively representing the first derivative and the second derivative with respect to time of the Doppler velocity d of the projectile, then calculating the estimate {circumflex over (V)} of the speed V of the projectile from d, {dot over (d)} and {circumflex over (?)}?, and finally calculating the estimate Ê of its angle of elevation E from d and {circumflex over (V)}. The method according to the invention may apply to the protection of sensitive areas against the firing of ballistic projectiles.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the handling, the attaching to a drag line and the putting to sea of a submersible craft, dragged by a surface vessel. The invention includes a system for automatically attaching and handling submersible craft towed by a tow line, comprising an automatic attaching device for carrying out the mechanical attaching of the submersible craft to the drag line and the linking of the submersible craft to the structure conveying the signals and the energy in this same line. The system according to the invention also includes an automatic device for handling the submersible craft, on which device the submersible craft is positioned when it is not attached to the drag line and from which it is separated after attachment, and which makes it possible to automatically position the submersible craft with respect to the drag line in such a way that the attaching and detaching can likewise be done automatically.
Abstract: A strip-map Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) auto-focus image generation process is provided. Batches of raw radar return data are processed in order to form batch images which each have a valid region between invalid regions. The process determines an estimate of the first derivative of a phase error at an end of the valid region, determines a time-shift corresponding to that estimate and uses that information in determining a starting point for the next batch of raw radar return data.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for aiding the design of a system architecture. The method for design of an architecture of a system according to an embodiment of the invention includes at least the following steps: functional and non-functional analysis of a technical requirement with which the system complies; formalization of points of view for analysis of the architecture of the system based on the functional and non-functional analysis; definition of one rule for analysis of the architecture of the system for each analysis point of view; construction of the architecture of the system; and analysis of the architecture according to the rules of analysis. The design of system architectures notably relates to the field of system engineering. The systems to which the present invention is applicable can be hardware systems, software systems, or systems combining both hardware and software.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sigma-delta modulator to convert an analog signal into a digital signal using an analog-to-digital converter slaved in a closed loop. The undecided bits at the output of the analog-to-digital converter are assigned the same values in the digital output signal from the modulator as in the digital signal returned to the input of the modulator.

Abstract: The invention relates to a millimeter frequency oscillator using integrated circuit technology. The oscillator includes a microwave output (Sf) providing an oscillation frequency Fout as a function of a control signal Vt. The oscillation frequency Fout may be modulated around a central frequency Fc via two control inputs of the oscillator, a first control input Ec1 driven by a first control signal Vt1 fixing the central frequency Fc of the oscillator and a second control input Ec2 driven by a second control signal Vt2 allowing linear modulation of this central frequency Fc. The control signal Vt of the oscillator is a function of the two control signals Vt1 and Vt2.
