Abstract: This disclosure describes deblock filtering techniques in which an in-loop deblock filter of a first codec is used as a post deblock filter of a second codec. A number of techniques are also described to facilitate input parameter adjustments and allow for the effective use of the filter with both codecs. The techniques can simplify the architecture of a device that includes multiple codecs operating according to different coding standards. Specifically, the different codecs can use the same deblocking filter regardless of whether the coding standard calls for in-loop filtering or whether post filtering is used. For example, a filter designed as an in-loop deblocking filter for a codec that complies with the ITU-T H.264 coding standard can be used as a post deblocking filter for MPEG-4 video.

Abstract: A double-tube type stent is inserted into a hollow tubular organ such as a bile duct so as to relieve narrowing of the bile duct on, for instance, an anastomotic area of the intrahepatic bile duct of a liver transplant patient. A hollow cylindrical body has a plurality of rhombic spaces formed by weaving a superelastic shape-memory-alloy wire so as to be crossed. A silicon coating layer is coated on an outer surface of the cylindrical body using a silicon solution. A polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tube is fixedly fitted around the cylindrical body having the silicon coating layer leaving a gap therebetween.

Abstract: A system for communicating with a processor within an integrated circuit can include a dual-bus adapter (115) coupled to the processor (105) through a first communication channel (110) and a second communication channel (120). The dual-bus adapter further can be coupled to a memory map interface (135) through which at least one peripheral device communicates with the processor. Single word operations can be exchanged between the processor and the dual-bus adapter through the first communication channel. Burst transfer operations can be performed by exchanging signaling information between the processor and the dual-bus adapter over the first communication channel and exchanging data words between the processor and the dual-bus adapter through the second communication channel.
Abstract: A method of capturing trace data can include storing trace data from a circuit as entries within memory slots of a trace buffer. Responsive to detecting a first trigger event, a trigger bit and a time marker bit within a first trigger event entry are set, wherein the trigger bit and the time marker bit are correlated with the first trigger event. A capture region within the trace buffer having a defined range can be determined. A first time marker correlated with the time marker bit of the first trigger event entry can be stored. Content of the capture region from the trace buffer correlated time markers can be output.
Abstract: In a communication session in which data flows with encrypted data packets pass through a monitoring intermediary for data traffic control. The encrypted data packets include SPIs (Secured Parameter Indexes) which are used to identify SAs (Security Associations) for data decryption. During the initial signaling process for the communication session, the nodes seeking the communication session include the SPIs in the signaling messages and send the signaling messages through the monitoring intermediary which in turn matches the SPIs of the signaling messages with the corresponding SPIs extracted from the data packets. In enforcing data traffic control, the monitoring intermediary allows data flows to pass through if comparison matches in the SPIs are found. Otherwise, the data flows are rejected.

Abstract: A network of point of presence servers allows a customer to organize their web site by functions where functions are mapped into domain names. The functions have requirements that define what is needed by a server to satisfy the function. The domain names are mapped into resources or servers that can be addressed by the domain name and that satisfy requests for the function that domain name has been defined to support. This method of organization allows individual elements of a web page to be retrieved from different resources and gives the name server the control to direct users to an available and optimal server for a given resource.
