Abstract: The present invention is directed to technology for enabling an Identity System to interact with provisioning systems. An Identity System sets a job code attribute for an entity that it manages. The job code attribute corresponds to a set of external resources associated with the entity. The resources may be supported by different provisioning systems. In response to the entity's job code attribute, a Provisioning Bridge Server provisions tasks required to make the external resources available to the entity. The tasks may be provisioned across multiple provisioning systems.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for notifying a wireless communication device user regarding an account payment. One method comprises dialing a phone number of a wireless communication device, preferably a cell phone. A communication relating to an account payment that includes a balance due is then transmitted or delivered to a wireless communication device user. Optionally, at the same time or a later time, input from the wireless communication device user may be received regarding payment of the balance due. Such notification methods may be carried out by a host computer system which has a record of when the account payment is due and dials and transmits within a predetermined time frame. Generally, such methods will further comprise pre-registering or enrolling the wireless communication device user.

Abstract: A system and method issues a credit card or other credit instrument to a user by first obtaining authorization and authentication from the user.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the use of stamping to form features on a lead frame of a semiconductor device package. In one embodiment, portions of the lead frame such as pins are moved out of the horizontal plane of a diepad by stamping. In certain embodiments, indentations or a complex cross-sectional profile, such as chamfered, may be imparted to portions of the pins and/or diepad by stamping. The complexity offered by such a stamped cross-sectional profile serves to enhance mechanical interlocking of the lead frame within the plastic molding of the package body. Other techniques such as selective electroplating and/or formation of a brown oxide guard band to limit spreading of adhesive material during die attach, may be employed alone or in combination to facilitate fabrication of a package having such stamped features.

Abstract: In one embodiment, the invention provides a device for decreasing intracranial or intraocular pressures. The device comprises a housing having an inlet opening and an outlet opening that is adapted to be interfaced with a person's airway. The device further includes a valve system that is operable to regulate respiratory gas flows through the housing and into the person's lungs during spontaneous or artificial inspiration. The valve system assists in lowering intrathoracic pressures during each inspiration to repetitively lower pressures in the venous blood vessels that transport blood out of the head to thereby reduce intracranial or intraocular pressures.
Abstract: A system and device for maintaining and/or creating patency in airways is disclosed. The methods of using the system and device are also disclosed. The system includes a power source that energizes a electro-active polymer implant. The energized polymer implant provides stiffness and shape to the airway, thereby minimizing collapse or deformation of the airway. A method of making the device is also disclosed.

Abstract: A loyalty program business model includes entering into an agreement with loyalty program partners and agreeing on exchange rates between a variety of loyalty unit types. Partner accrual records (PAR's) arc accepted from the loyalty program partners related to the business activity of related loyalty program members. Loyalty units credits are calculated for a member from data obtained in the step of accepting. A partner loyalty account balance is updated according to the standardized loyalty unit debit obtained in the step of calculating. Then an invoice can be billed to a partner according to the partner loyalty account balance.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for music-based searching. Embodiments of the invention receiving music queries that specify music elements, the queries using textual, audio, and/or score data. The music queries may be used to generate search parameters based on the specified music elements, which may in some cases be weighted. The search parameters may then be directing against a database comprising data records, each data record being associated with a music piece and a set of music elements relating to the music piece. Matching data records in the database may then be identified based on music elements common between the search parameters and the associated music piece. Search output may then be ranked, displayed, and output in various ways.

Abstract: A process chamber 1 for PECVD (Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition) coating of a substrate includes an electrode, which is integrated in a contact frame, which is firmly connected to the recipient. A movable carrier in the process chamber carries at least one substrate. The carrier is transported by means of a driven roller positioner into the process chamber or out of the process chamber along a transport route defined by the movement. As soon as the carrier inside the recipient has reached a certain position, the lower roller positioner is uncoupled from carrier by lowering by means of a lifting device. In this regard, the carrier detaches itself from the upper roller positioner. Then, the carrier is accepted by a transfer device (not shown) and brought from the transport position laterally into a treatment position in contact with the contact frame. In this way, reliable contact is produced between the electrode and a counter-electrode provided in carrier.
