Abstract: An eating utensil with a spoon shell fastened to a handle enables handicapped people, who have, e.g., only one usable hand, to reduce in size pieces of food, e.g., meat, by cutting into bite-sized pieces. To achieve this, the spoon shell (1, 31) and the handle (6) are of a two-part design. The spoon shell (1) has a first shell part (2) with a first handle shaft (4) and a second shell part (3) with a second handle shaft (5). The respective shell parts (2, 3) and handle shafts (4, 5), which are rigidly connected to one another, are connected to one another by a scissor hinge (7) and can be moved against one another in a scissor-like manner. The shell parts (2, 3) have cutting edges (8, 9) cooperating in a scissor-like manner.

Abstract: The electrophoresis apparatus comprises rectifier (A) which rectifies an AC current from a universal AC power source and outputs a rectified wave, an electrophoresis cell and an electric controller which applies an electric output from the rectifier (A) to a carrier disposed in the electrophoresis cell, the elastic controller comprising a controller (3) for indirectly controlling, in accordance with external inputs, a driving section (6) which controls an electric output from the rectifier circuit. The electrophoresis cell unit defines a recess for receiving the electric controller, and a cover is positionable over the electrophoresis cell unit. The cover includes a cover terminal, where the cover and cover terminal are shaped to electrically connect an output terminal of the electric controller to an input terminal of the electrophoresis cell unit when the; cell covers the electrophoresis cell unit.
Abstract: A fram with a support post, a first connector support member mounted at an intermediate position of the post and a second connector support member or members mounted at an upper or lower position, or both the upper and the lower positions, of the support post. A lateral member is secured to a side portion of the support post in a fixed, removable or rotatable state. A connector is mounted at an outer end of the lateral member at a vertical position corresponding to the first or the second connector support member.
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a highly productive key pad with rigid resin key top, wherein the key top adhesion surface 2, 6 of the key pad 1, 5 or a portion thereof is surface altered by at least one method selected from short wavelength UV irradiation treatment, corona discharge treatment, flame treatment and plasma treatment and can be adhered with reactive hardening resin 3, 7 such as urethane base resin, epoxy base resin, amino base resin, acrylic base resin, cyanoacrylate base resin and photo reactive hardening resin, thereby reducing adhesion operation time, without fear of dislocation during the adhesion.
Abstract: An antislip apparatus is provided for footwear to be fit on a region of a sole and/or a heel of a shoe defining an engagement surface in contact with the ground surface. The antislip apparatus includes a ground gripping structure for engaging the ground surface including a support and crampon-like prongs disposed on the support extending perpendicularly from the support. An operating arrangement or actuator is provided for operating the cam arrangement. The actuator includes a cylindrical rotor formed integral with the plate.
Abstract: A process, in which the original master diagram, which is used as the generic representation of the variation spectrum of the product and in which at least one symbol corresponds to every possible component of the product, is stored in the coded form in the memory of the information processing unit, is disclosed for the computerized generation of engineering data for products that are assembled according to individual specifications of the components. The conditions for the presence of components or of operating materials of components in an expression of the product that meets the specification are stored in the memory such that they are associated with the symbols of the original master diagram that correspond to the component or to an operating material of the component.
Abstract: A process for joining components and assembly units of rail-borne vehicles by bonding is described, in which the use of an adhesive, which produces fatigue strength but cures more slowly, is combined with the use of an adhesive that ensures sufficient strength for handling in a short time, wherein complicated design of the bonded joints as well as the need for a large amount of devices are to be avoided, manufacturing tolerances are to be equalized, and defined minimum bonded gap widths are to be maintained. Furthermore, the wetting by the adhesive shall be limited to selected joining surfaces, without having to remove and dispose of the edge limitation.
