Abstract: A method of transferring information across a computer network with a server and a client. The information is divided into a plurality of cards and a plurality of card forms. Each card includes a plurality of values. Each card form corresponds to one of the cards and includes a description of the values of a corresponding card. The cards and the card forms are stored in a server data base on the server and a client data base on the client. The information in the server is changed or replaced by attaching a card delta to one of the cards. The card delta indicates which information in the respective card is to be replaced. The card deltas are transferred between the client data base and the server data base when data bases are to be updated.
Abstract: An ear-covering band is provided which is formed by a straight, tubular knit manufactured article having at least one shaped intermediate part, and in which the edges of the ends of the said tubular knit element are brought together and joined by means of sewing in order to form an annular knit article. A method is provided for manufacturing the ear-covering band on a circular stocking knitting machine.
Abstract: A test strip for the immunochemical detection of substances after sampling from surfaces, with a conjugate zone (2) located between an eluent application zone (1) at one end of the test strip and a reaction zone (3) at the opposite end, the zones being in liquid connection with one another. A section of the test strip in the area including the eluent application zone and the reaction zone is used to wipe off the surface and as a sampling zone (4). The eluent application zone may be used as a sampling zone. The test strip is connected to a preferably flexurally rigid test strip holder (6), which does not cover the sampling zone (4).

Abstract: The invention relates to a machining center, wherein at least one work spindle with a preferably horizontal spindle position can be displaced preferably in the direction of X, Y and Z and each work spindle is allocated at least one substantially circular tool store which can rotate around a central axis and which is provided with storage locations so that the working spindle(s) can deposit one or several tools. The invention is characterized in that a) the tool store (2) comprises one or several tool disk(s) (3) which are arranged parallel to each other and grouped together in a drum store, wherein b) the tool disk(s) can be individually or jointly rotated around a central axis (4) which is perpendicular to the spindle axis and c) the tools (5) can be inserted with their tips (6) forward into tool holders (7) in the tool store (2) which are arranged in a tangential to radical direction.
Abstract: A mount for plate-shaped components, more particularly glass plates is disclosed. The mount comprises a socket element, which penetrates a recess in the plate-shaped component, thereby fixing the component, and a hinged bolt. At its first end, the hinged bolt comprises ball element, which is rotatably mounted in a recess of the socket element, and can be secured with its opposite second end to a support structure, thereby fixing the socket element. In this respect, the ball element (6) is at least slightly linearly displaceable in the recess (7) of the socket element (2) along tile longitudinal axis of the hinged bolt (3), and at least one spring element (12, 13) acts indirectly or directly upon the ball element (6).
Abstract: A device for the noninvasive blood pressure measurement with a cuff and with a corresponding control and evaluating circuit. The device provides improvements in terms of the signal resolution. On the one hand, the cuff (1) is connected via a pressure sensor with pressure transducer (4) to a downstream amplifier (5), which is preferably designed as an operational amplifier, and to an analog-digital converter (6) arranged directly downstream of the amplifier (5) with the computing and control unit (2). On the other hand, the computing and control unit (2) is connected to the cuff (1) via an electronically driven pressure transducer (3).
Abstract: A milling roller module for a surface miner, includes a milling roller operating with undershot for loosening the material from the block being mined, a support frame for fastening the milling roller to the surface miner, and a takeup chute for supporting the intermediate conveying of the loosened material in the area of the milling roller and for transferring the material to the downstream discharge belt in a specific manner. The drives are placed into the milling roller and the feed lines are led into the milling roller together with the support frame for fastening the milling roller from the side in the upper third of the milling roller diameter. As a result, it is possible to perform mining operations up to a cutting depth that is equal to half the roller diameter. A takeup chute is provided to transfer the material from the milling roller onto the downstream discharge belt in a specific manner.

Abstract: The present invention pertains to a hemming device 1 with a hemming head 6, which has one or more hemming tools 8, 9, divided into segments 12 through 16 in the case of a plurality of hemming tools, wherein the hemming tool or hemming tools is/are provided with a hemming edge 11 rotating in the operating position. The hemming device 1 also has a stroke drive for generating the hemming stroke and an adjusting device 22 for withdrawing and extending the segments 12 through 16, which has an adjusting drive 23, which moves all segments 12 through 16 simultaneously. The segments have adapted contact surfaces 17, which have a contact angle &agr; of 20° to 50°. The adjusting drive 23 is preferably designed as a crank mechanism.

Abstract: An electro-acoustic transducer comprises a metal single-piece blade diaphragm having a very good heat conductivity and mechanical characteristics, the metal blade of which is resiliently suspended and supports the acoustical current wire fixed at the center of mass thereof to the active metal surface of the transducer, so that the acoustical current wire communicates to the blade the heat which is produced because of the acoustical current and added to that generated in the blade because of the deformation of the resilient suspension.

The holder uses an elastic connector part, and a holding part to hold the built-in electronic part, which is integrally molded with the elastic connector, and thereby a soldering process for connecting lead wires, etc. is eliminated. Holder parts of complex shape can be integrally molded with the elastic connector part.
Abstract: A pipeline duct through a discharge opening (17) of a vane support housing (1) and an opening (6) in an outer wall (3) of a compressor housing of a gas turbine. The upper part of the pipe (2) is firmly clamped with a flange (14) and seals (7) between the bleeder connection (15) and the outer wall (3) by means of fastening elements (16). The lower part of the pipe (2) is sealed by a piston ring (8). The piston ring (8) is guided by two fastening rings (9, 10), which are mounted in the vane support housing (1) by fastening elements (16). The fastening rings (9, 10) make possible a free movement of the pipe (2) and the housing (3) in relation to the vane support housing (1) in the horizontal direction due to their free spaces (11, 12, 13).
