    Abstract: Disclosed is a grease composition comprising a major proportion of a grease, a hydroxy-containing soap thickener and a minor amount of a boronated oxazoline compound. The hydroxy-containing soap thickener and boronated oxazoline compound are each added in amounts sufficient to increase the dropping point of the grease an appreciable amount. Generally this can be an increase of at least 15.degree. F. and could be as great as 200.degree. F. to 250.degree. F. or more. Sulfur and phosphorus compounds can also be incorporated into the composition.
