  • Patent number: 5895588
Abstract: A controller for controlling a laser marking machine, which classifies a divided image into a non-printing region (H row) and a printing region ("APPER"). When the non-printing region is displayed on a liquid crystal display screen, the printing pattern ("APPER") is displayed on the liquid crystal screen so that scanning on the liquid crystal display screen is started by a scanning device from the printing region continuing the non-printing region by omitting this non-printing region (H row) when it is in an upper region for which scanning is first made. A moving device corrects the moving distance of the printing position of the printing pattern by the distance corresponding to the non-printing region (H row) so omitted, and starts movement to the marking position of the next divided image (B'3) when scanning of the printing region of this divided image (B'2) is finished.

  • Patent number: 5896233
Abstract: A low-cost high-speed device for correcting the marking position of a laser marker, which uses a smaller quantity of corrective data and a simplified arithmetic operations, wherein corrective values for design parameters for a lens are obtained on the basis of a production tolerance of the lens. The design parameters of the lens are corrected according to the corrective values, and the distance for the lens to move is calculated from the corrected design parameters of the lens and the distance to a desired marking position. A move command corresponding to the calculated distance is outputted to lens drive means, and a pattern of a divided image is marked in the desired position.

  • Patent number: 5888293
Abstract: A low-cost and high productivity charging material is provided for use in the recharge or additional charge fabrication of single-crystal semiconductor by means of the CZ method. Common polysilicon rods utilized in recharge or additional charge fabrication have their end portions formed into ring grooves. A joint element is made of silicon. When the end portions of the rods contact, the joint element engages the grooves to connect the rods together along their longitudinal direction. The rods can have arbitrary length, whereas the total weight, including the joint element, must be adjusted by the length to be greater than those of the melted polysilicon and the suspending portions.

  • Patent number: 5887693
Abstract: The present invention is an adjusting mechanism for a controlling switch which comprises a transmission mechanism. The gear of the transmission mechanism is meshed with a driving gear and a worm is driven via an inner gear. The worm is further meshed with a driven gear of the adjusting mechanism. The driven gear is provided with clutching plates at both sides. A stopping block biased by a resilient spring plate is disposed adjacent to the clutching plate such that the clutching plate is pressed against the driven gear and is rotated together with the driven gear. The clutching plate is provided with a coil spring externally and centrally. The resilient spring plate is further provided with a triggering rod such that the clutching plate can be removed from the driven gear. On the other hand, the clutching plate can be also moved back to its original position by the coil spring such that the stopping block will press onto a rocker arm and the switch will be triggered off.
