Abstract: The invention relates to a boring machine, particularly for woodworking, for boring rows of holes and structural bores in plateshaped workpieces such as cabinet sidewalls, cabinet doors, etc. with a machine frame having a workpiece holder and a boring assembly displaceable on guide rails, in which machine the workpiece holder. a workpiece stop and a stop arrangement with position fingers adjustable and lockable in the displacement direction of the boring assembly, which, in connection with the boring assembly, determine the boring position along the displacement path of the boring assembly.Presetting of boring patterns with a number of bore rows is carried out by means of position rollers having a number of holding rails in which fingers can be prepositioned. The fingers cooperate with finger receivers to determine the positions of the boring assembly.

The debris pick-up apparatus includes an elongate sweeper driven by the motor for sweeping debris in the path of the vehicle and three pick-up fans powered by the motor and mounted downstream of the sweeper for receiving debris swept from the ground by the sweeper. A grinder is powered by the motor and mounted downstream from the three pickup fans for receiving debris picked up by the pick-up fans and grinding the debris into smaller-sized debris. The vehicle includes a collection container for the ground up debris carried on the rear of the chassis.
Abstract: A laminated wooden board product comprising a plurality of adjacent wooden sheets laid onto each other to form a laminate and an adhesive bonding material positioned between adjacent wooden sheets and adhered to the adjacent sheets under heat and pressure to permanently secure the adjacent sheets together. The adhesive bonding material is a low melt polyester.
Abstract: A wood flooring product for assembly into a wood floor is disclosed. The flooring product includes a top, decorative layer, an intermediate layer bonded to the top layer, and a base layer bonded to the intermediate layer. The top, intermediate and base layers are bonded in registration to define a laminated elongate wood flooring strip. A tongue and a groove are formed on respective side edges of the flooring strip. The tongue and groove extend along the length of the flooring strip, and lock adjacent flooring strips together side-to-side to form an assembled wood floor. The base layer has a multiplicity of closely spaced-apart scores cut transverse to the length of the flooring strip along substantially the entire length of the flooring strip. The scores relieve stress and increase flexibility in the wood strip for more closely adhering to irregularities of a sub-floor.
Abstract: A passenger seat leg assembly with an energy absorbing zone. The seat includes fore and aft located legs for being fastened to a seating track mounted on a floor and fore and aft located seat-bottom support for supporting a seat bottom assembly including a cushion. The seat legs and the seat bottom supports are integrally formed with each other to define a unitary seat leg assembly. The seat leg assembly is characterized in that the fore located leg and the fore located seat bottom support diverge from each other to define an intermediate concavity and includes an integrally-formed, peripherally enclosed and laterally-extending through chamber formed in the area of the concavity to define an energy-absorbing zone. An auxiliary crush-resisting member having predetermined magnitude of resistance to crushing cooperates with the chamber to provide additional resistance to crushing. The member may be a cover plate positioned over the chamber, inserts of various designs positioned within the chamber, or both.
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a gold club including feeding a predetermined weight of aramid reinforced nylon thermoplastic material from a screw of an injection molding system into a suitably shaped mold. After an initial portion of the thermoplastic has passed into the mold a stream of a predetermined volume of nitrogen under pressure is introduced into the thermoplastic feed to urge the thermoplastic against the inner walls of the mold to form a hollow club. When the feed and stream into the mold have been completed, the mold is maintained under pressure for a period of time to allow the thermoplastic to set before the nitrogen is released.
