  • Patent number: 8131102
Abstract: A method for processing a digital gray value image includes the steps of: generating a binary edge image from the gray value image so that edges present in the gray value image are determined as line areas around the edges; applying a sharpness algorithm in the gray value image within regions which correspond to the line areas; and, carrying out a smoothing process in the gray value image within regions which lie outside of the line areas so that an additional smoothed, sharpened gray value image is generated.

  • Patent number: 8128130
Abstract: A plug-in hose coupling includes a housing input part with a receiving bore widened in an end region which faces toward the interior of the coupling. A tubular support sleeve is sealingly clipped into the widened end region by an annular collar which has multiple outward U-shaped channels. At least one annular seal and one annular holding element, which bears axially against the seal, is in the form of an open lock washer and is supported against an inner conical support face of the housing input part. The support face narrows conically counter to the plug-in direction of the tube end. The holding element has encircling cutting edges on the inner periphery for engaging the tube end. A fastening part is non-detachably joined to the housing input part and support sleeve by an overmolding connecting section.

  • Patent number: 8110055
Abstract: A self-sealing pneumatic tire has a sealing band (3) applied adheringly in the circumferential direction on the inner side of the tire and radially within the tread. A sealant (2) is applied to a carrier material (1). The carrier material (1) of the sealing band (3) is a foil on which the sealant (2) has been applied. The sealant, because of its intrinsic stickiness, adheres both to the carrier material (1) and to the inner side of the tire.

  • Patent number: 8023120
Abstract: An ophthalmic surgical microscope (100) has a microscope main objective (101) and a viewing beam path (105) which passes through the microscope main objective (101) for visualizing an object region. The ophthalmic surgical microscope (100) includes an OCT-system (140) for recording images of the object region (108). The OCT-system (140) includes an OCT-scanning beam (142) which is guided via a scan mirror arrangement (146) to the object region (108). An optic element (147) is provided between the scan mirror arrangement (146) and the microscope main objective (101).
