Abstract: A refuse collection device has an elongated handle with a sleeve slidable thereon and wire frames on the handle and sleeve respectively for engagement in the open end of a disposable bag. Movement of the handle relative to the sleeve expands the bag to a full open position and secures it whereupon the bag may be turned inside out by pushing it between the wire frames so that a firm smooth opening is defined by the wire frames into which refuse may be conveniently moved.

Abstract: A snap on bottle cap for a container having a neck configuration including an annular shoulder over which the bottle cap is engaged so as to be self-retaining thereon. The bottle cap is formed of resilient material permitting distortion of the cap when it is applied to the bottle. A ring is positioned around and fastened to an annular flange of the cap by a plurality of frangible elements and it is attached to a portion thereof separated from the remainder by spaced cutaway areas. The ring thus may be used as a pull ring to free the portion of the annular flange as necessary in removing the cap by permitting the remainder of the cap to expand circumferentially so as to become disengaged from the annular shoulder on the neck portion of the bottle. The separation of the ring provides a visual indication of tampering.

Abstract: A battery discharge indicator device for use on battery powered mining haulage vehicles is provided which automatically monitors the discharge condition of each of the battery supply sources provided on a mining haulage vehicle. The battery discharge indicator provides a continuously flashing lamp indication when any of the battery supply sources discharges to a predetermined level required to power the mining haulage vehicle to a charging station. A momentary flashing indication is further provided when the discharged battery source or sources are replaced with charged battery sources thereby indicating to the operator that the battery powered mining vehicle is ready for use.

Abstract: A tennis racket construction comprising a frame having an ovaloid head portion terminating in a pair of closely spaced parallel extensions which are adapted to receive a handle with the head portion of the frame being defined by the oppositely curving portions of the frame. A throat made of a resilient elastomeric material is positioned between the oppositely curving portions of the frame to complete the ovaloid shape of the head of the racket and to provide the sole support for adjoining strings attached thereto.

Abstract: A traction device that can be removably mounted on a vehicle tire includes a plurality of non-deformable straps of a length greater than width arranged at evenly spaced intervals around the tread of the tire. Each strap has a series of transversely running ridges on it with a pair of flexible resilient loops of nylon cord that pass through apertures in the ends of each strap along opposite side walls of the tire holding the traction assembly adjacent the tire tread thereby increasing traction in mud and snow.
