Abstract: A car door lock control having a sliding protective sleeve that covers the door lock button when it is depressed in the locked position. The sliding sleeve is spring loaded so that it may be pushed down around the button allowing the button to be pulled up to the unlocked position.

Abstract: A bicycle wheel drive has a pair of pedals arranged for reciprocal motion at a slight angle from vertical beneath and forwardly of the seat of a bicycle. Sprockets on the bicycle at the opposite ends of the paths of the reciprocable pedals receive bicycle chains, at least one of which is also engaged on a sprocket on a wheel of the bicycle to be driven. Carriages movable in the reciprocable path of the pedals mount the pedals and one-way ratchets incorporating sprockets mounted on the carriages engage the bicycle chains so that alternate up and down movement of the pedals by a bicycle rider imparts a continuous rotary motion to the sprocket on the driven wheel of the bicycle. A flexible cable interconnects the carriages carrying the pedals and is trained over an idler pulley near the upper end of the reciprocal path of the pedals so that downward motion of one of the pedals imparts upward motion to the other pedal.

Abstract: A tool for removing jammed or frozen screws from work pieces in difficult to reach areas where the required pressure on the screwdriver cannot be easily applied. The tool has a pliers-like configuration with one of the jaws having a bifurcated bracket engaged on the work piece adjacent the screw to be removed. The other jaw rotatably mounts the screwdriver. A socket on the screwdriver is engagable by a socket wrench.

Abstract: A bearing plate cover for the fifth wheel of a vehicle engaging the entire bearing and non-bearing surfaces thereof. The bearing plate cover is composed of a flat sheet plastic material having a low friction coefficient and high deflection characteristics so as to provide a wear resistant slippery surface for contact with another bearing surface.

Abstract: A pocket football game board includes three sections in a common foldable cover, one section holds a plurality of offense cards and a plurality of defense cards and a rotatable dial with indicia thereabout. A center section portrays a football field with a movable ball marker and a movable field marker. The third section includes a description board having indicia keyed to the rotatable dial. The pocket football game board thus provides for playing a complete football game.

Abstract: A hot compress applicator for the symptomatic treatment of the eye comprising an insulated receptacle for liquid, a portion of which has a gauze pad covered eye cup in communication with the liquid receptacle by way of a metering aperture. In use the receptacle is filled with hot water and held so as to place the gauze pad against the eye allowing a measured amount of water to be absorbed by the gauze pad.

Abstract: A water and dust shield for protecting the interior of vehicle brake assemblies provides a resilient and flexible flanged disc which is centrally apertured and partially split transversely to provide for its installation on an axle to enclose a rotating brake drum on a wheel carried by the axle. A plurality of arms attached to the shield about the central aperture enable a clamping band to secure the shield to the axle in slightly spaced relation thereto.

A mechanism within the cylindrical body and operable from the exterior thereof imparts horizontal motion to said spacer arms to enable the same to be positioned to match the inner diameter of a coil of wire or the like positioned on the horizontal pay-off reel.

Abstract: A hot fuel gas generator for an internal combustion engine simultaneously vaporizes gasoline and water in a multi-chambered heated pressure vessel having built in regulators for controlling pressure and volume and delivers the resulting superheated steam and gaseous fuel to the internal combustion engine downstream from the usual carburetor. A single device operating at a very high temperature, for example 1600.degree. F., is used for the simultaneous vaporization of the fuel and water to develop desirable working pressure and volume. The high temperature steam and gaseous fuel positions the fuel molecules at the greatest degree of separation from each other providing the greatest opportunity for contact of the oxygen, the reacting species in the gaseous condition as chemical reactions occur only between particles at the atomic or molecular level and it is necessary for the reacting species to be in actual contact at the time of reaction.

Abstract: A snow removing device has a hollow roller with closely spaced apertures forming its surface through which partially compacted snow moves as the roller advances. A suction blower communicates with the hollow roller to continuously remove snow therefrom and a secondary roller having fingers engagable with the apertures in the first roller is arranged as an idler with respect thereto. A framework engages the rollers and supports the suction blower and provides a handle for moving the snow removing device.

Abstract: A pair of game boards are used in playing a card game and arranged to show the cards played through the use of a plurality of markers identified with the cards played. The boards are arranged to receive the markers in different colored sections in horizontal and vertical rows. The markers are positioned on the boards by each of the players to indicate the players score as controlled by the play or plays the player may make with the cards that are dealt to or drawn by the player. The markers have different values corresponding with the cards they represent and the players final score is determined by the markers and their positioning on the game boards.
