Abstract: A lock set with a quick changeability has a plug, a cylinder, a seat, a ring and a sliding cover. The plug is mounted in the cylinder and has multiple first holes in rows wherein multiple lower pins are inserted. The cylinder has a chamber radially defined therein wherein the plug is inserted, and a lug formed in a top end thereof. Multiple second holes in rows are respectively defined in the lug and multiple upper pins and springs are inserted into the second holes. Multiple openings in rows are respectively defined in a lower inner wall of the cylinder wherein upper pins and springs are inserted into the second holes. The sliding cover abuts the lower inner wall of the chamber and has multiple orifices in rows defined therein. Hence, it is easy for a user to change a corresponding key.

Abstract: A satellite positioning system (SATPS) receiver has a mix of standard and enhanced digital channel processors. The standard digital channel processors perform continuous tracking. During a low SNR and/or fast acquisition mode, the enhanced digital channel processor accumulates samples of a SATPS signal that are identically positioned within corresponding PRN code repetition periods, and plays back the stored accumulated values of the samples in an integration period to a correlation section for correlation with a locally generated PRN code.
Abstract: A method of fabricating printed circuit boards integrating thick film resistor components and thin film circuit portions thereon is disclosed. This is a two-phase process, where the first phase is to create multiple thick film resistors, and the second phase is to create a thin film circuit portion on the substrate with thick film resistors in existence, involving the printing of the electrodes and the resistive coating for the thick film resistors, and the printing of a low temperature passivation layer over the resistors; and the thin film circuit is formed by titanium and copper layers over the substrate, and electroplating of interconnections to form copper plated circuit. The present fabrication process does not require drilling of holes nor electroplating of leads to the resistors, thus the whole process can be automated to a greater extent than with conventional techniques.
Abstract: An indoor UHF antenna device for a digital television includes a flat structural design. The flat indoor UHF antenna device includes a circuit board having a wireless signal processing circuit and an antenna. A metal wire bent as a long rectangular antenna and having a gap forms the antenna. Two signal feeder points are defined at two locations having a same distance from two long sides of the long rectangular antenna respectively, and thereby the antenna includes a first antenna part having a gap and a second antenna part for impedance matching. The antenna is set horizontally on the circuit board with the signal feeder points welded on the circuit board. Thereby the antenna device of the present invention is enhanced to receive wireless signals of polarized waves transmitted by different transmitters.
Abstract: An automatic re-inked stamp has a stamp base an ink pad, a character unit, a housing and a bottom cover that attaches to the stamp base without having to press the character unit down. The stamp base has a bottom, an opening at the bottom and a lip formed on and protruding out from the bottom. The ink pad is mounted slidably in the stamp base, and the character unit is rotatably mounted below the ink pad and abuts the ink pad when it moves into the stamp base. The housing has a biasing member and is mounted slidably over the stamp base. The bottom cover has two latches that hook the lip on the stamp base to hold the bottom cover securely on the stamp base.

When manufacturers mass-produce the electronic connector sockets, separately making USB socket modules is not necessary anymore. Abstract: A modular communications socket has a chassis, a main circuit board and a socket block. The chassis has a front and a rear. The main circuit board is mounted on the chassis near the rear of the chassis and electrically connects to the other circuit board. The socket block is mounted on the chassis near the front and has a contact assembly and a secondary circuit board. The secondary circuit board is mounted on the socket block and electrically connects to the main circuit board. The contact assembly is mounted in the socket block and electrically connects to the secondary circuit board. The circuits on the circuit boards connect the contact assembly simply to circuit board in the parent equipment through the main and secondary circuit boards.
Abstract: A battery for electrical appliances that consume low voltage battery has a body containing a fluid material that is composed of active carbon and water therein, two conductive rods functioning as the opposite electrodes of the battery and extending into the body, and a water receptacle attached to the body. Water stored in the receptacle is able to be drawn into the body via a water absorbent bar to react with the two conductive rods. With such an arrangement, a chemical reaction of the two electrodes and water generates electricity to provide to an electrical appliance.
Abstract: A treadmill includes a base assembly, a collapsible treadmill deck and a locking device that includes a telescopic tube and a latch. The telescopic tube supports the treadmill deck in a folded position and includes an inside tube and an outside tube. The outside tube has a pawl hole and a bottom end pivotally mounted to the base assembly. The inside tube is telescopically mounted in the outside tube and has an outside end pivotally mounted on the treadmill deck and multiple positioning holes aligned with the pawl hole. The latch includes a stationary bracket fastened on the outside tube and a pivot pawl pivotally mounted on the stationary bracket. The pivot pawl has an inside end extended into the pawl hole to engage one of positioning holes to interlock the inside tube with the outside tube to firmly hold the folded treadmill deck in position.

Abstract: A method for fabricating on-chip spacers for a TFT panel exposes a photoresist layer on top of the TFT panel using two exposure processes, one through the bottom of the TFT and the other through a mask over the TFT panel. The exposure process through the bottom exposes all photoresist covering windows on the TFT panel and leaves all photoresist corresponding to an opaque grid corresponding a TFT driving circuit. A second exposure process through a mask above the photoresist leaves part of the photoresist in the opaque grid unexposed. The exposed photoresist is removed leaving on-chip spacers only on the opaque grid. Therefore, the on-chip spacers can not affect the display quality and can be easily formed on a high dpi TFT panel.

Abstract: A breakable syringe with a safety sleeve has a syringe body (10), a needle (13) with a needle base (12), a safety sleeve (20), and a breaking device. The needle (13) is attached to the syringe body (10) by inserting the needle base (12) into the syringe body (10). The safety sleeve (20) slidably sleeves the syringe body (10) and clamps the breaking device with the syringe body (10). By sliding the safety sleeve (20), the safety sleeve (20) can be selectively positioned at different locations to expose or enclose the needle (13) by the multiple engaging devices and even to urge the breaking device to break the syringe body (10). Therefore, the needle (13) of the syringe is conveniently enclosed and the syringe can be immediately broken after use.
Abstract: A retractable stamp has a longitudinal spring with a tension that can be adjusted. The adjustable stamp has a housing, a base, a cover, a handle, an adjustment knob and a position ring. The housing has a character unit mounted inside, and the base is mounted on the housing. The cover is mounted outside the housing and the base, and the handle is connected to the cover. The longitudinal spring is mounted inside the handle and retracts the character unit into the cover. The adjustment knob is mounted rotatably in the handle, and the position ring holds the adjustment knob in place. When the adjustment knob is turned, the tension of the spring can be changed to make the character unit stamp a clear imprint.
