Abstract: A pneumatic sanding machine includes a body, a pneumatic motor assembly mounted in the body and a control valve detachably mounted in the body to change the path of compressed air that actuates the sanding machine. The control valve includes a first portion selectively closing one of different air passages in the body at a time, a second portion and a neck portion interconnecting the first portion with the second portion. Thus, a dust bag or a vacuum cleaner can be connected to the sanding machine to collect dust or sanding debris so that the sanding machine provides three different ways of dust collection, one of which is not to deal with the powder, the second is to collect the powder into a dust bag, and the third is to vacuum the powder into a vacuum cleaner.

Abstract: A hose with multiple through holes is used to convey fluid, has a hose body having two ends, multiple through holes arranged abreast passing through the hose body longitudinally and two enlarged annular flanges. Some of the multiple through holes maintain fluid flow when the hose body is bent or twisted. The two enlarged annular flanges may be attached respectively to standard connectors so the hose can be readily attached to a standard outlet and sprinkling nozzle.
Abstract: A vehicle LCD includes an LCD screen installed in a housing. A transparent bar is mounted between the housing and the LCD screen and along sides of the LCD screen. A channel is defined in the transparent bar and along the sides of the LCD screen. A cold-light strip is received in the channel. A plurality of buttons is mounted on a control panel of the housing. Whereby, the buttons can be illuminated by the cold-light strip, so the user can directly press the buttons at night or in a dark environment without having to turn on an interior lamp in a vehicle.

A connector 10 with a pair of shunt plates 11, 12 is used to electrically connect terminal a to b and terminal c to d, in order to connect the battery to the main device. The connector may be mounted in a cover panel 42, 43. In one embodiment (FIG. 6), the connector 10 is mounted to the exchangeable module for automatic separation from the terminals when the module is moved.

Abstract: A multi-mode renewable power converter system is disclosed. The system includes a control unit, a boost converter, an inverter and optional bi-directional charger, wherein the boost converter converts DC output of a solar cell or a renewable source to high DC bus voltage, and the inverter converts this DC bus voltage to an AC output. This power converter can be used to support standalone load or grid-connected system with a dynamic maximum power point tracking (MPPT) circuit. The MPPT circuit detects the current and voltage from the solar cell and indicates to the inverter to provide power to the load connected. When the optional bi-directional charger is installed, the MPPT signal is also fed to this charger to make the power efficiency maximized for the system.
Abstract: A safety syringe for taking blood has a hollow barrel, a seal, a tube and a needle hub. The hollow barrel has an outside surface, a proximal open end and a distal closed end. The seal with an inner needle is mounted inside the hollow barrel. The tube has a proximal open end and a distal open end and is attached longitudinally to the outside surface of the hollow barrel. The needle hub is mounted inside the tube, and the needle can extend out of the distal open end of the tube. A first through hole defined in the hollow barrel and a second through hole is defined in the tube align with the first through hole. When taking blood, the needle is extended out from the distal end of the tube to take a blood sample and a vacutainer is inserted into the hollow barrel to collect a blood sample. The used needle is retracted into the tube after use to keep people from getting injured or infected.
Abstract: An extension cord assembly has a housing composed of a front casing and a rear casing, and two bases respectively and rotatably provided at opposite sides of the housing, wherein each base has multiple sockets formed thereon. Since the bases are rotatable, the base is able to be turned to a desired position to allow any plug to be easily inserted into the sockets on the bases.
Abstract: An indoor antenna has an antenna assembly with at least one antenna, a controlling circuit, a temperature sensor and a LCD. The controlling circuit has a microprocessor. The microprocessor has a clock and is electronically connected to the temperature sensor and the LCD. The microprocessor obtains a temperature signal from the temperature sensor and keeps time so the LCD can display the temperature and current time in addition to sending broadcast signals received by the antenna to a television. Therefore, the indoor antenna is a multiple function antenna that provides other useful information.
Abstract: An isothermal heat sink use operational principles of heat pipes and includes a plate-like body including a housing, an interior partition and a wick. The housing has an inner chamber under a vacuum. The interior partition divides the inner chamber into an upper and lower half chamber and has a central through hole and multiple air passages. The wick containing a working fluid is held in the central through hole and has a lower evaporating section and an upper condensing section that are held respectively in the lower and the upper half chambers. Therefore, the working fluid in the evaporating section evaporates and produces a vapor that enters the upper half chamber from the lower half chamber through the air passages. The vapor condenses into liquid that enters the condensing section and returns to the evaporating section to improve cooling efficiency of the heat sink.
Abstract: A vehicle fleet management information system for identification of location and direction of movement of each vehicle in the fleet in real-time and automatic communication directly with management offices to report its location and heading, and status of predetermined events in which the vehicle may be engaged. One example is a cement delivery truck which monitors location, speed and status information such as start pour, pouring, end pour, wash and leave job, and automatically transmits this information with a management office without requiring affirmative action by the vehicle operator.

Abstract: A satellite positioning system (SATPS) receiver has a mix of standard and enhanced digital channel processors. The standard digital channel processors perform continuous tracking. During a low SNR and/or fast acquisition mode, the enhanced digital channel processor accumulates samples of a SATPS signal that are identically positioned within corresponding PRN code repetition periods, and plays back the stored accumulated values of the samples in an integration period to a correlation section for correlation with a locally generated PRN code.
Abstract: A keyboard cover has a rectangular transparent film made of a soft material and having an upper side, a bottom side, two long sides and two short sides. Two first reinforcing strips are formed at the bottom side and respectively at the two long sides of the film. Two second reinforcing strips are formed at the bottom side and respectively at the two short sides of the film. Two elastic strips are respectively formed beneath the first reinforcing strips. Each of the elastic strips has two ends respectively bent upwards and inwards and fastened at the corresponding corners of the film. Abstract: A suspension plate has a base plate, a U-shaped holding member and a locking stub. The base plate has a suspension hole defined near one end of the base plate. The holding member is formed on the base plate to define a chamber with two opening ends between the holding member and the base plate. A locking channel is defined in the base plate and has multiple first teeth formed on each respective side of the channel. The locking stub is inserted into the locking channel and has multiple second teeth formed on the protrusion to engage with the teeth on the locking channel so as to keep the protrusion from moving in reverse. Accordingly, a tool can be securely held in the suspension plate to keep the tool from being unauthorizedly removed.
Abstract: A computer hinge includes a hollow cylindrical sleeve which is to receive therein the first extension and the second extension of the first stem and the second stem respectively. The sleeve has an arcuate block integrally formed on one end face of the sleeve to optionally engage with opposite ends of the first connection portion. Furthermore, a limit formed on the second stem to selectively connect to the stop on the sleeve is able to provide a separation force to separate the screen from the main frame.
Abstract: An injection joint for an IV device tube has a connector with a sealed injection port. The sealed injection port has an injection port socket, a resilient plug and a cap. The resilient plug is mounted in the injection port socket and has a tapered flange and multiple through holes. The cap has a threaded nipple and is securely mounted in the injection port socket around the resilient plug. The tapered flange selectively blocks the threaded nipple. When adding medicinal solution to the injection joint, a syringe without a needle but with an inner threaded opening is screwed onto the threaded nipple of the cap. Pushing the tapered flange into an axial passage in the neck allows the medicinal solution to pass through the through holes and into the injection port socket. The present invention improves the safety to medical personnel when injecting solution into the injection joint.
