  • Patent number: 6536941
Abstract: A personal flash disk for wrist wearing is disclosed. The main body has double enclosed space for setting a flash memory module and an accessory. Two interlocking straps extend in opposing directions from the main body, wherein multiple punched holes are defined through the first strap, while a buckle is fixed on the second strap. A strap carrier is attached on the second strap that can be adjusted to suitable position to accommodate the connector at one end of the first strap when the personal disk is worn on the wrist but not in use. When the personal disk is to be used, the connector is taken out and plugged into a host computer to make the connection. By incorporating a timepiece or ornamental piece, the personal disk provides a multi-function product with additional values.

  • Patent number: 6535405
Abstract: A power supply device having two AC power inputs includes a power unit that has first and second AC power inputs and a power output, a step-down and filter unit, a power regulator unit, and a detecting and switching unit. The step-down and filter unit converts the AC from the power unit to a low-voltage DC power. The power regulator unit maintains the low-voltage DC power as a stable power. The detecting and switching unit detects whether a power failure occurs on the first AC power input and subsequently switches the power supply to the second AC power input to keep a stable power supply so as to avoid any damage caused from the failure of the power supply.

  • Patent number: 6520574
Abstract: A beach chair with a sunshade in accordance with the present invention consists of a chair (10), a sunshade (20) and a securing device (30) mounted between the chair (10) and the sunshade (20). The securing device (30) comprises a toothed ring (31) mounted on the chair (10), a locking collar (32) rotatably mounted around the toothed ring (31), a locking block (33) rotatably secured inside the locking collar (32) and a ratchet wheel (34) holding the sunshade (20) and rotatably mounted on the locking collar (32). The sunshade (20) can be moved in two directions by operationally rotating the ratchet wheel (34) relative to the locking collar (32) and rotating the locking collar (32) round the toothed ring (31) to achieve an optimum inclination position for shading. Additionally, the sunshade (20) can be folded against the chair (10) so the beach chair can be easily carried.

  • Patent number: 6522183
Abstract: A PLL device has a voltage-controlled oscillator, a reference generator that generates reference signals with different phases, and a main divider that divides the frequency of the output signal of the voltage-controlled oscillator by a frequency-division ratio N1. An auxiliary divider divides the frequency of the output of the main divider by a frequency-division ratio N2. A distribution circuit distributes the output of the auxiliary divider as feedback signals. Phase detectors compare the reference signals and the feedback signals, and generate error signals. Each of the main divider and the auxiliary divider has a programmable divider or a counter. The main divider and the auxiliary divider are both operative during start-up to shorten PLL lock-up time, and the auxiliary divider then powers down to reduce power consumption.
