Abstract: A hinge bracket has a positioning disk adapted to be abutted to one side of the leg of the frame and having a first cutout and a second cutout peripherally defined around the positioning disk and a pad sandwiched between the positioning disk and one of the second leaf springs. The pad has a finger alternately corresponding to the first cutout and the second cutout so that the frame is able to be supported at a first position or the frame is able to be extended at a second position to be in parallel with the base to minimize space taken when stored or transported.
Abstract: A hinge for a notebook computer includes a leaf to be fastened to a lid of the computer. The leaf has a pair of tubular portions formed at a bottom thereof, a wing extending from a first side thereof and a tenon projecting from an opposite second side thereof. A support piece is oriented perpendicularly to the leaf for additionally abutting the lid and is formed with a first through-hole aligned with the tubular portions and a mortise for receiving the tenon. A base is to be fastened to a main body of the computer. The base has an upright slab defining a second through-hole aligned with the first through-hole of the support piece. Furthermore, there is a pintle extending through the through-holes into the tubular portions so as to pivotally connect the leaf and the support piece with the base.
Abstract: A faucet for a water dispenser has a seat secured on a front housing. The seat has at least one nozzle formed therein. At least one button is provided above the seat to control the nozzle's on/off modes when a user presses the button inwards. The button has a slot longitudinally defined therein and a locking key is movably received in the slot. The locking key has a finger extending downwards and blocked by the front housing. The button cannot be pressed when the locking key in a locked position, and can be pressed when the locking key is moved to an unlocked position to retract the finger.
Abstract: A complex laminated bamboo board includes an upper layer and a plurality of lower layers glued to the upper one. The upper layer consists of parallel strips and a pair of ribs alongside them. The ribs extend downward from a level not higher than a top face but not lower than a bottom face of the upper layer to below the bottom face. The lower layers are glued to the upper layer beneath the bottom face and at sides of the ribs. In addition, the strips and ribs of the upper layer are made of a first woody material but the lower layers are made of a second woody material different from the first woody material.

Abstract: A pressure valve device for a gas pressure cartridge has a pressure valve, a container connected to the pressure valve and a clip connected to the pressure valve. The pressure valve has an exhaust port and a gas inlet with a crewing portion. The container in which a gas cartridge is retained has a screwing opening screwed onto the screwing portion of the gas inlet. When the container is screwed onto the screwing portion, gas from the gas cartridge is input to the gas inlet. The pressure valve outputs a fixed gas pressure through the exhaust port into the compressed air gun. In addition, the clip on the pressure valve makes carrying the pressure valve device on a belt or the like easy.
Abstract: A video/audio module for a flat-panel display has a rectangular housing, a circuit board and speakers provided inside the housing, and a cover enclosing the housing. Two fasteners are arranged at opposite sides of the housing, and at least one tenon is formed on the cover. Both the fasteners and the tenon are used for providing a secure connection between the module and the flat-panel display. Further, the circuit board inside the housing is able to receive external video and audio signals and then play those signals respectively by the flat-panel display and the speakers.
Abstract: A thermal flask has a body and a vacuum solar heating device. The solar heating device is detachably mounted on an opening defined in the hollow body. The vacuum solar heating device has a transparent tube, a connecting collar and a solar energy absorber. The tube has an inner wall, an outer wall, a closed end, an open end and a vacuum chamber defined between the inner and outer walls. The connecting collar is mounted on the open end of the tube and has an inner thread screwed onto an outer thread formed around the opening in the hollow body. The solar energy absorber is mounted in the tube to absorb solar energy and radiant heat. Accordingly, the vacuum solar heating device can heat the liquid in the flask, and the temperature of the liquid will be maintained for a desired long time while traveling.
Abstract: Safety goggles for sports and work includes a frame, two lenses, two female fasteners and an elastic band. The frame has two opposite edges and a connector is formed integrally from each edge of the frame. Two socket holes are defined through the frame. A lock hole is defined in each lens, and a lens is mounted in each socket hole in the frame. Each female fastener has a lock hook that is formed integrally on an attachment element. The elastic band is coupled to the connector by means of the female fastener, and the lock hook is hooked in the lock hole in the lens to prevent the lens from popping out of the socket hole in the frame.
Abstract: A suction device used in aging process of a microwave tube includes an ion pump and a suction unit respectively connected to an electron gun and a collector located in two opposite ends of the microwave tube. The suction unit includes a barrel communicated with the microwave tube and a getter disposed in the barrel. An electric power source is electrically connected to the getter. Before operation, the microwave tube along with the suction device undergo exhaust process on a heating exhaust station. After that, the electric power source supplies an electric current to electrify and heat the getter to its activation condition. Therefore, the suction device can greatly save the vacuum suction time of the aging process and the cost associated with the production of the microwave tube.
