Abstract: A suction device used in aging process of a microwave tube includes an ion pump and a suction unit respectively connected to an electron gun and a collector located in two opposite ends of the microwave tube. The suction unit includes a barrel communicated with the microwave tube and a getter disposed in the barrel. An electric power source is electrically connected to the getter. Before operation, the microwave tube along with the suction device undergo exhaust process on a heating exhaust station. After that, the electric power source supplies an electric current to electrify and heat the getter to its activation condition. Therefore, the suction device can greatly save the vacuum suction time of the aging process and the cost associated with the production of the microwave tube.
Abstract: A windmill is securely mounted at a mediate portion of a torch support which is compose of a first column, a second column and an arcuate plate sandwiched between the first column and the second column so as to clamp thereon the windmill via a thread.
Abstract: A string drawing electrical device for a racquet has a casing, a string holder, an actuating device and a control unit. The string holder is rotatably attached to a panel of the casing. The actuating device is mounted in the casing and provides two functions, feeding and reversing, to the string holder. The control unit is mounted in the casing for controlling the actuating device to act. Accordingly, the string drawing electrical device can tighten and loosen the string, and the tensile force of the string of the racquet can be accurately controlled.
Abstract: An electrostatic precipitator includes an upright hollow body having a lower smoke inlet and an upper smoke outlet, with a pair of spaced horizontal partitions formed in the hollow body between the inlet and outlet. A set of parallel ducts extends vertically between the partitions, and a pair of distributor frames is arranged in the hollow body, with one of the distributor frames disposed over the ducts and the other of the distributor frames disposed under the ducts. Between the distributor frames is stretched a plurality of wires that extend through respective ducts. Furthermore, each of the distributor frames is formed with a plurality of terminals to be electrically connected to one electrode of a DC high-voltage power supply, but the ducts are adapted to be electrically connected to the other electrode of the DC high-voltage power supply.
Abstract: A temple plate pad adapted to a temple plate of a pair of eye glasses has a bottom plate and a tapered body securely engaged with the bottom plate and adapted to securely engage with the temple plate. The bottom plate has a width larger than a width of the tapered body so that after the tapered body is attached to the bottom plate, an inverted T shape is formed. Whereby the T shaped temple plate pad is able to receive loading due to the width of the bottom plate being larger than the width of the tapered body.
Abstract: The present invention discloses an envelope detection circuit by using a peel cone approximation concept. The envelope detection circuit comprises an absolute value comparision mechanism, a read only memory and a multiplier/adder mechanism. Particularly, the present invention uses a divider to generate an address of the read only memory to obtain less error and less hardware cost.
Abstract: A system for selection by a user and delivery to the user over an internetwork transmission channel of selected audio data files at a delivery rate of at least twice the delivery rate for normal, audibly perceptible playback of an audio data file. The user registers the user's selection of audio material with a central library of audio and/or text data files, and a digitized and optionally compressed omnibus file containing the user's selections is prepared and transmitted to the user at a high data transfer rate. The user receives downloads the selected data files to a personal computer or to a portable storage and playback unit (SPU) that may store and play back digitized text or audio data, using a docking station. The user carries this SPU until the user has an opportunity to audio process and play back the text or audio data files in audibly perceptible form.

Abstract: A personal flash disk for wrist wearing is disclosed. The main body has double enclosed space for setting a flash memory module and an accessory. Two interlocking straps extend in opposing directions from the main body, wherein multiple punched holes are defined through the first strap, while a buckle is fixed on the second strap. A strap carrier is attached on the second strap that can be adjusted to suitable position to accommodate the connector at one end of the first strap when the personal disk is worn on the wrist but not in use. When the personal disk is to be used, the connector is taken out and plugged into a host computer to make the connection. By incorporating a timepiece or ornamental piece, the personal disk provides a multi-function product with additional values.
Abstract: A power supply device having two AC power inputs includes a power unit that has first and second AC power inputs and a power output, a step-down and filter unit, a power regulator unit, and a detecting and switching unit. The step-down and filter unit converts the AC from the power unit to a low-voltage DC power. The power regulator unit maintains the low-voltage DC power as a stable power. The detecting and switching unit detects whether a power failure occurs on the first AC power input and subsequently switches the power supply to the second AC power input to keep a stable power supply so as to avoid any damage caused from the failure of the power supply.
Abstract: A fountain has a container receiving therein a battery, a micro chip, a pump electrically connected to the battery and operably controlled by the micro chip and a tube received in the container. A float is provided in the tube and is able to move upward and downward intermittently in the tube. The float further has extensions securely mounted on a top face of the float so that when the float is moving upward, the extensions, originally folded due to the confinement of the tube, extend to present an ornamental effect to the environment.
