    Abstract: An assembly for bathing an invalid person comprising an adjustable bed frame including a pair of opposed, substantially parallel side portions and a horizontally extending bottom portion. A mattress is supported on the bottom portion of the frame between the side portions, and a water deflecting flexible sheet is detachably secured to the upper edges of the side portions of the frame. A manually actuated lever subassembly is operatively connected to the side portions of the frame for selectively latching the side portions of the frame in a raised or elevated status relative to the bottom portion of the frame during the bathing of a reclining person. A hydraulic lift subassembly adjustably supports the entire frame above a base platform.

    Abstract: A flexible fabric cover for a water closet lid which includes an upper panel and a lower panel of substantially the same shape as the upper panel and stitched at a location adjacent the periphery thereof to a major portion of the periphery of the upper panel to retain the panels in a registering and superimposed position with respect to each other. An opening of lesser width than the maximum width of each of the panels at the center thereof separates the peripheries of the panels at one side thereof, and a pair of spaced elastomeric bands extend from opposite sides of the opening along the peripheries of the superimposed panels to join the panels to each other over portions of their peripheries adjacent the opening, thereby facilitating resilient enlargement of the opening during mounting of the cover on a water closet lid.

    Abstract: Apparatus for sawing which can be used either in portable, manually operated form, or as a stationary bench-mounted sawing device for sawing through a workpiece along predetermined angles of cut. The apparatus comprises a portable chain saw which includes a prime mover secured to one side of a flat mounting plate. A saw blade guide plate projects from the prime mover through a slot provided in the mounting plate, and in a plane substantially normal to the plane of the mounting plate. A saw blade is extended around, and guided by, the guide plate, and is protected by guard means pivotally mounted on the mounting plate. A cradle frame structure releasably receives and clamps the mounting plate in a table sawing position when the chain saw is to be so used. A cradle frame pedestal pivotally supports the cradle frame structure for pivotation about a horizontal axis.

A stack extends upwardly from the upper side of the firebox in heat exchange relation to a hot water tank positioned over the firebox. Air conveyance ducting is connected to the upper side of the air plenum chamber, and air return ducts are connected to the lower side of the air plenum chamber.

    Abstract: A modular cable trench system for receiving cable in a trench excavated in the earth. The system includes one or more tee and/or channel elements of lightweight modular construction, with each of the molded modular units including a bottom frame and opposed side plates secured to opposite side edges of the bottom frame with both side plates and bottom frame molded of lightweight material. Transverse reinforcing elements extend between the side plates at ends of the bottom frame and are molded integrally with the side plates and bottom frame. The geometric configuration of the bottom frame and transverse reinforcing elements is selected to minimize the weight of each modular unit. A removable cover plate engages the upper edges of the side plates in each unit.

A tire positioning slide assembly is slidably mounted on the base frame for sliding movement in a direction extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of the lever arm.

A towing tongue is pivotally connected to the forward side of the framework, and a hydraulic piston and cylinder system is connected between the towing tongue and the framework for pivoting the framework between a position of coplanar alignment with the towing tongue, and positions in which the framework is angulated with respect to the plane of the towing tongue. Gauge wheels are pivotally mounted on the framework for selective elevation in relation to the blades, and a hydraulic system is provided for selectively elevating and lowering the gauge wheels by pivotation on the framework. The hydraudlic system for the gauge wheels includes a transversely extending tubular control member mounted on the framework for the plow forwardly of the gauge wheels. Each gauge wheel is connected with the control member by a turnbuckle subassembly.

A plurality of transverse channel members are connected between the hydraulic fluid tanks and extend transversely across the hopper under the bottom wall thereof. A plurality of horizontally spaced, longitudinally extending supporting rods are positioned between the channel members and the bottom wall of the hopper to support the bottom wall on the channel members.
