  • Patent number: 7591128
Abstract: A cable protection and guide device, wherein: the warp in front and rear side portions of link plates in the width direction is reliably limited so that an inadvertent disengagement between the link plates is completely blocked. The connection between the link plates is easy and manufacturing of the link plates is easy. Short arc-shaped warp limiting lock grooves are formed along a path coaxially spaced from a connecting pin or a connecting pin hole. Short arc-shaped warp limiting lock pieces are fitted to the short arc-shaped warp limiting lock grooves in a concave element/convex element engagement opposed surfaces of the link plates connected in the longitudinal direction so that warping in the front and rear side portions of the link plates in a width direction is limited.

  • Patent number: 7584643
Abstract: In a method for testing the functionality of an actuator in an actuating system, especially for the actuator of a valve (2) in a safety-oriented circuit in which the partial stroke test method is used, where the actuator is moved briefly by its drive element (8) such as a valve rod over a portion of its actuating path to test its functionality, the goal is to prevent the actuating system from closing too far during the performance of the partial stroke test method. This is accomplished in that, to prevent the actuating system from closing too far, the drive element (8) with the actuator is driven in such a way that it can be moved only within permitted limits during the partial stroke test. The actuating path of the actuator (7, 8) is limited by a mechanical stop (15).

  • Patent number: 7575024
Abstract: A thread to connect coupling comprising a female coupling half and a male coupling half is disclosed and claimed wherein the male coupling half includes a recess in the exterior of the male body which extends circumferentially therearound. The female coupling half includes a valve, a female body, and a female body extension affixed to the female body. The female body further includes a sliding sleeve movable with respect to the valve between a first position abutting and closing the valve and a second position opening the valve. The male body interengages the sliding sleeve and moves therewith during coupling and uncoupling. During uncoupling, the sliding sleeve is reliably positioned sealingly against the valve because the sliding sleeve is interlocked with the male body such that as the male body is withdrawn from the female body the sliding sleeve comes with the male body.

  • Patent number: 7562769
Abstract: A medicament package comprises a vessel adapted to hold a quantity of a liquid vehicle. The vessel has an opening formed therein. The opening engages a deformable enclosure which receives a medicament container that contains a unit dose of a medicament. The entire medicament package is sterile and is arranged such that by deformation of the enclosure the container may be dislodged from the enclosure into the vessel whereby the medicament may escape from the container and mix with the liquid vehicle. The medicament container is formed with one or more dispensing apertures through which the medicament may exit the container and/or liquid can enter the container. The medicament container may be formed as two or more components, the integrity of the container being maintained by its engagement with the enclosure and that integrity being lost once the container is released from the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 7535333
Abstract: A method for monitoring a the contact resistance (Rs) of the wiper of a sensor for a variable quantity, with a potentiometer (2), in which the position of the center tap (3) determines the value of the quantity, is improved in such a way that, first, when the sensor is used in an automatic control circuit, no control deviations occur and, second, the contact resistance of the wiper can be monitored with precision. This is achieved by the cyclic switching-on of a load (RLast), so that the contact resistance (Rs) of the wiper can be determined on the basis of the change in the voltage divider ratio.

  • Patent number: 7520122
Abstract: A cable protection and guide device in which maintenance of cables is easily performed without completely removing a cable accommodating space extension arm from a side plate is disclosed. Inadvertent disengagement of the cable accommodating space extension arm is prevented because the arm strongly engages the side plates of the device. The cable protection and guide device includes a number of pairs of right and left side plates connected to each other. Cable accommodating space extension arms are bridged over the flexional inner circumferential sides of at least one pair of side plates. D-shaped pin hinge shafts in the hinge ends of the arms are detachably interengaged with a groove in one of the side plates and thus permits the arm to pivot with respect to the side plate. Hinge end side locking pawl pieces of the arms are interlocked to the side plates.
