Abstract: The present invention relates to an LED light bulb utilizing LED light sheets with illuminated curved surfaces and can be used as a replacement bulb. The LED light bulb comprises an LED light engine having first and second LED modules with first and second illuminated curved surfaces facing toward different illumination zones I1, I2 respectively and attached to a thermally conducive support block with an increased curved surface area for heat dissipation. Said first and second illuminated curved surfaces are curved about first and second axes A, B respectively and are arranged to be offset from each other with said axes A and B substantially perpendicular to each other such that an improved illumination with direct lights shone to at least six different sides of the light bulb and subsequently a substantially spherical illumination of dispersed lights may be obtained along with an enhanced cooling of the light bulb.
Abstract: A light emitting diode apparatus comprises a substrate having a circuit pattern, a reflection layer disposed on the substrate, at least one light emitting element disposed on the reflection layer, a reflector disposed around the at t one light emitting element, a sealing material formed over the at least one light emitting element and a phosphor layer disposed over the sealing material. The light emitting element comprises a conductive portion electrically coupled to the circuit pattern. In one embodiment, a plurality of light emitting elements are linearly arrayed, and a spacer is disposed between every two adjacent light emitting elements.

Abstract: A blood flow control system, tension adjustable instrument and a method are disclosed. The blood flow control system comprises a detecting unit, a computing and a tension adjustable instrument. The detecting unit real-time monitors the biomolecular response condition of a living organ, and the computing unit dynamically controls the tension adjustable instrument to adjust the tension of the blood vessel based on the detecting result. Therefore the blood flow control system can maintain the biomolecular response condition over a predetermined range to reduce the risk of the liver organ being damaged and augment the curability.
Abstract: The present invention discloses an optical tracking device and a positioning method thereof. The optical tracking device comprises several light-emitting units, several image tracking units, an image processing unit, an analysis unit, and a calculation unit. First, the light-emitting units are correspondingly disposed on a carrier in geometric distribution and provide light sources. Secondly, the image tracking units track the plurality of light sources and capture images. The images are subjected to image processing by the image processing unit to obtain light source images corresponding to the light sources from each image. Then the analysis unit analyzes the light source images to obtain positions and colors corresponding to the light-emitting units. Lastly, the calculation unit establishes three-dimensional coordinates corresponding to the light-emitting units based on the positions and colors and calculates the position of the carrier based on the three-dimensional coordinates.

Abstract: A high accuracy satellite signal receiving controller and associated method is provided. Abstract: A method for detecting a typical defect area on a disc track includes the following steps. Firstly, a source signal is provided. Then, first and second signals are generated according to the source signal. The first and second signals are held at the peak level of the source signal and respectively decreased at first and second drop rates. Then, first and second threshold values are subtracted from the first and second signals to generate first and second slice signals, respectively. Afterwards, the source signal is compared with either the first slice signal or the second slice signal. When the first slice signal is larger than the source signal, a typical defect signal is changed from a first level to a second level. Whereas, the typical defect signal is changed from the second level to the first level when the second slice signal is smaller than the source signal.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a memory management system and method for open platform. The memory management system and method of the present invention utilizes the main spirit of sharing service in open platform. When the used memory in local open platform exceeds an upper limit, the standard service bundle access interface is used for accessing the standard service bundle in remote open platform. Therefore, the standard service bundle in local open platform can be off-loaded to release the memory space so as to resolve the memory shortage problem. The stability of the whole system can be maintained.

Abstract: The method for forming the optimal characteristic curve of a solar cell comprises the steps of: providing a first acceptable error; and determining a current-voltage polynomial regression equation, whose square root of the residual sum of square is less than the first acceptable error for a set of solar cell measured data. The order of the current-voltage polynomial regression equation is gradually increased until the square root of the residual sum of square of the current-voltage polynomial regression equation is less than the first acceptable error.

Abstract: The invention provides a high resolution proton nuclear magnetic reonance and imaging (NMR/MRI) in microtesla magnetic fields by using high critical temperature (high-Tc) superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) magnetometer via a flux transformer.
